Singer Jung Joon Young has switched companies to C9 Entertainment, which houses artists such as Younha and Cheetah.

Jung Joon Young’s contract with CJ E&M has recently expired. On December 24, CJ E&M issued a press release that revealed, “A wonderful parting with Jung Joon Young has taken place.”

After his previous contract’s expiration, Jung Joon Young has decided to hold hands with C9 Entertainment and start a new path for his singing career.

C9 Entertainment has been very successful in promoting many artists of various genres and unique charms. With Younha’s ballads and Cheetah’s hip hop style, the addition of Jung Joon Young’s rock sound will allow C9 Entertainment to widen its spectrum of musical styles.

Jung Joon Young first made himself known to the public when he got into the top 3 in the singing competition show, “Superstar K4.” In 2012, he had signed with CJ E&M. He is currently the vocalist of a band and is also a permanent member of KBS 2TV’s “1 Night 2 Days.”

Furthermore, Jung Joon Young will be holding a concert with his band on December 30 to 31. This concert will mark the end of his ties with CJ E&M.
