Super Junior’s Ryeowook Shares His Thank-You Speech on Twitter

There were handful of winners at tonight’s ceremony for the 2015 KBS Entertainment Awards who were unable to attend and had someone accept the award in their stead. In the case of Super Junior‘s Ryeowook, he also shared his words of gratitude via SNS.

Ryeowook won an award for Best Radio DJ for his radio program, “Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio.” Since Ryeowook was in Hong Kong tonight for a performance with Super Junior-K.R.Y, fellow member Leeteuk, who was the first “Kiss the Radio” host, accepted the award for him. Even so, Ryeowook took to Twitter to say the words he couldn’t share on stage.

“Thank you very much!^^ This was possible thanks to everyone who listens and participates in ‘Kiss the Radio’ every day. Thank you to all the listeners~ Our producers and writers have all worked hard. I’m always thankful to the Super Junior members, Henry, and Zhou Mi. I love you guys~ Thanks to my mom and dad who listen every day. I love you!”

He continued, “I came to Hong Kong this morning, wrapped up the K.R.Y concert, and now I’m heading back to Korea. This was the first time my name came up at the KBS Entertainment Awards, so it’s very unfamiliar, but I’m happy~ I’ll work even harder. I’ll share this honor with our fixed guests! Thank you all ^^ Let’s have an office dinner, ‘Kiss the Radio.’”
