One of the most compelling storylines in SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama, “Six Flying Dragons,” is that of the star-crossed lovers Lee Bang Ji (Byun Yo Han) and Yeon Hee (Jung Yoo Mi), and preview stills for the upcoming episode show the conflict between the two get even more tragic.

In episode 19, Lee Bang Ji will have to draw his sword at the throat of his first love. Lee Bang Ji and Yeon Hee were each other’s first loves in their childhood, torn apart due to tragic circumstances, and currently reunited in a situation in which they cannot be together. They struggle with their remaining feelings for each other and their loyalty to their country and cause. The preview stills for episode 19 show Lee Bang Ji, who has recently earned the title of the best swordsman in the country, faced with having to use his skills on Yeon Hee, a double agent. They are at the gisaeng house of Hwasadan, Goryeo’s top information organization, and one of the groups Yeon Hee is a spy for. Bang Ji holds the sword to Yeon Hee, facing Hwasadan’s leader, gisaeng Cho Young.

What this scene means for Lee Bang Ji and Yeon Hee and how it will play will be revealed in the episode 19 broadcast later tonight, December 7 at 10 p.m. KST.
