I'm not sure if anyone answered you, but if I remember correctly, the date on TK-DS pic is written on the bottom right corner. The date in JH-DS pic is shown on the bottom left hand side on the poster that they're standing in front of. 

On a different note, thank you everyone for all of your analysis! The Baduk comparison was amazing!!! It definitely made me sad to see TK cry, but seeing the look of disappointment on DS's face was worth it!!! All of their interactions in this episode (as well as the last few episodes) just shows me how natural they are with one another. There is no second guessing how they're going to react or respond to one another, it just comes naturally. The urge to take care of and protect one another is so apparent between these two...I think that it surpasses the level of just "friends."

I don't know what I'm going to do with myself until episode 17 comes out. I'm going crazy just thinking about it. I've been to the main thread and JH-DS thread and all I can say is this ship is amazing. Everyone here is wonderful! Happy holidays everyone and stay warm!

Guys.... just watched ep15 chinese sub.

I hav to say tis regarding Taek being commented as baby. He is more aware of adult world than the gang. As observed by DS dad. Althou Taek hates ppl to ask him for favours, as JH said when DR ask if he should ask Taek  to find him a job, Taek still went ahead with the interview request even when it took more than 30min with qs unrelated to baduk. Also Taek gave money to mr lee to treat the interview team for taking care of him. Should i add on the call to hospital chief? Cos Taek dad inform him abt JH dad injury.

Not watch ep16 yet, wait for sub. But reading all your comments i agree taking a step back is best move. DS must choose who is in her heart. Then the gang can remain intact.

Can't wait to watch ep 16. But can't imagine the wait till next yr for ep17.

Fav Taek DS scenes, every one of them. DS wait for Taek outside baduk n ordered him to get his bag, china trip esp tis is ur clothes, beach date eating n playing, secret santa at wooden table.

The thing is,TK shippers,despite knowing that ANYTHING can happen,decided to just tag along with the couple that makes/whose storylines move us in a special way. 

I mean,look at me. I was(yes,I used "WAS")neutral but my heart kept moving towards TK more than the other. And I just went "screw this. I ain't neutral no more". I have been burned before as a CB shipper before but its different this time. Maybe its cuz I put it at the back of my mind to just have fun with the show and shipping. 

The "Main" thread is mostly about The "Main OTP" that anything apart from the "Main OTP" can be boring lol but nah..its different here. Any small moment is appreciated.

My questions I held back typing because I do not want to be in too deep with the shipping: 

1. Why did the show have this sweet flashback on how TK became part of the gang? Is it to solidify how hard it is for JH to ruin his friendship to TK just because he likes DS? Or is it because TK is the husband and he needs a proper backstory just like every Reply husbands?

2. DS cares...a lot when it comes to TK. It is like TK, then everyone. So how would the future husband be okay and not be jealous if DS still continues babying TK? Or how would DS stop babying TK? Can DS even stop caring for TK? What if TK got a girlfriend and the girl will have the role DS plays in TK's life, would DS feel the loss and get jealous?

3. Usually Reply otps have this problem they need to overcome in order to be forever. What if the problem that needs to get overcome in 1988 is how DS would stop seeing TK as a baby or little brother but as someone she could spend her life with?

4. She stop with the head petting. She stop with the baby voice when talking to TK. She still mothering him but he is also becoming a man for her (that smoking scene in the restroom, the giving of medicine).

5. I may sound like a broken record but I just can't wrap my head around the fact that when it comes to TK's personal needs, DS knows about it. Was she watching him all this time? 

6. Do you think we will have a flashback episode on when TK started liking DS? I think they will have one and that is just such a reply husband thing to do.

Sorry to cut your post chingu...but this,love this point.Everyone of you have something totally unique to speak for which has not been voiced yet.And yeah really hoping for a voice over from deok sun...about how she felt for the boys ..and it would be great if it's after the time leap. 

But honestly,would the time leap even happen.I am confused if it's going to hamper the flow of the story.

tbh im like you too from ep1 until 8 my brain just say 100% JH even im not shipping them since i actually enjoyed DS scene with DR most of time and of course the little moment she shared here and there with Taek before the epic China and beach ep XD

but even my brain spell it JH everytime but my instinct and heart say it Taek no matter what so yes im stranded in this ship now waiting to sink or float depend on our DS  

no matter the outcome i have zero regret choosing this ship and hang out in Taek's room since i think this thread have been so amazing and hope it continue with peace no matter what the result since we have lot of mature and nice people around^^

also im really in love with how powerful the bromance here that both goes to noble route and sacrifice their feeling..

maybe Taek also does it since he think DS might actually like JH back but at same time i have no doubt he really care for JH too

ugh every time I watch that scene I cry T.T

ok some thoughts:

-the blue lagoon being symbolic of Ds and jH story i think is a flawed "spoiler", the movie was really pedophilic ( Brooke shield was 14 at the time) and not something the writer would want to exemplify for the family orientated story...also I saw it as it being used for the color theory because blue lagoon ... and the cast is going to thailand when they are done filming to celebrate not to film there, i think HR hasnt even confirmed she is going.

- the fact most JH/DS fans were banking on TK confessing, shows that what happened in the ep favors TK/DS growth

- can they not have annnny scenes with Bora and DS having a healthy conversation???like Bora reaching out to help her with career choices? she is going into law she should be helpful in trying to analyze situations...and DS still being happy bora is leaving idk I have a sister so I dont understand why they are not closer...

-Bora and SW were so cuteeeeee, *cough* can they get married in 1994, Bora will be 26 so not that early? if SW is thinking doctor than him sitting beside micheal makes sense...i wonder if thats how Oppa and him will meet...double date time?

-JH looks to finally be looking more like his old pre-angst self 

- the situation with the movie sets it up as JH being the one that knows 

-did yall notice how JB was making a green crane and it was all isolated...and then JH grabed blue paper to make the plane..

-TK didnt have a freak out over his dad remarrying LOLOLOLING at people who thought he was immature 

-bora and dad T.T 

-honestly with the timing (now in the 16th ep), i just dont see JH being the husband, right now we just had TK with his angst scene and JH has been doing the same thing for 6 episodes....TK/DS missed opportunity is happening right before the time jump and it seems to be fueling the need for the reunion in 1994. In 1997 the older brother confessed first, and it was yoonjae was the one that confessed right before the time skip. It his emotions that leave questions and again its TK the has the last push 

- i think JH and TK will have the mutual code of not confessing to DS and then years will pass, ....and DS might just confess to one of them

@hafunohane  Chingu you made me realize how much I love Deok Sun and Taek moments to the bits, I will seriously miss them and you guys :/ Here is my top three 

1. "I'll buy you anything you want!" This moment always holds special meaning to me. It's mostly because of build up, Deok Sun was waiting for Taek to receive pink gloves but after it turns out to be misunderstanding she says Neoul "I think I don't even deserve to have Manito" Her point was far from getting gloves. It's makes the moment more precious once Taek realizes it he just disappointed Deok Sun without hesitation he  runs out to apologize. To me it shows why their bond was strong one to the begin with and why it will remain as such. How many times we have seen misunderstandings dragged like forever? Do you know how lucky you are Deok Sun...
2. "Take it off" Lol Beach scenes yeah but there is something else that catch my shipper heart and that is how Taek tried to rebel against Deok Sun three times just to give in at the end ...eating uncooked meat, leaving baduk board before it's over, getting soaked. First of all I love that bossy side of Deok Sun with Taek then of course how it gives Taek the opportunity to try new things even though he was reluctant at first he still enjoyed  being a bit more flexible than usual. 
3. "You've worked hard" Well some may say Taek and Deok Sun nothing more than being friends or family like but to me this moment screaming intimacy since it was slooower and longer than necessary if  it was only supposed to be comforting  so we add familiarity to that intimacy which keeps both unmoved by change of emotions. 

 

There things I would like to see if Taek is hubby

• Deok Sun cuddling with Teak
• Their childs cuddling with Taek lol 
• More adoring similes to each other but this time looonger

i love how Taek always kill some others expectation for him to be the immature baby they thought he is but then he do the opposite of what people expect..

he smoke,he help JH dad on his own accord,he learn to curse,he show very mature side in accepting his dad wanting to have 'good friend' wanting his dad happiness even he might be sad inside,naturally taking care of DS ready with the medicine this ep(just after people angry over him sleeping on her shoulder when she cry lol saying he don't care the writer sure good at changing thing with just one scene),he doing the noble idiocy just like jh which i hurray for me(as much as ppl want him to confess so he would become the bad guy who choose girl over friend and would be eliminate from the husband candidate XD) and im sure Choi Taek gonna continue surprising such as maybe he have hidden beast in kissing scene when others think he too pure for that lol

btw maybe im the only but i dunno i just feel DS totally moving on from JH this ep(yeah it could just be my delulu brain making conclusion) but the way she treat him is just like before she like him it just back to normal..ep15 she still look pissed and a lil angry but i don't really see much the feeling anymore..and ep16 she totally looking forward on her 'date' with Taek..reminding him about it and impatiently waiting for his called,looking disappointed when he cancel even she assure him it alright but in fromt of the gang she totally bad mood because of that and the way she ignore jh at the stair..it feel jh no longer her crush but just the same as sw&dr back to friend only? haha am i too delulu but that how i see..it feel the jh-ds ship just moving slower than turtle pace since ep10  but tk-ds have been sailing nonstop since ep6 and feel there gonna be more   yeah i shouldn't be spoiling myself too much with getting too confidence since i know the troll is capable to change everything with just one magic touch but i try to believe my own heart this time. .with such slow pace and damge they have done with jh-ds can they really redeem it in just 4ep while they still gonna give fair screentime with every character i doubt they can focus much on the triangle unless they already plan extension or just a rush ending..sorry for being such delulu

fave DS-Taek? can i choose everything? haha well

1. i actually fall in love with them from the moment DS pat his butt telling him to grow up and marry her while he cutely drink milk and that little smile he have after she said that seal the deal but at same time im especting he won't be competing since i thought it would be JH&SW from beginning and he might be another Joonhee or Binggrae but so glad im deadly wrong

2. when he call her to go see movie on the snowy day she want to be confess that romantic alright since he remember that little detail even it not directed at him but SW it pretty much pulling me to the dark side of under water world of taektanic and the rest is history

3. the China arc where she finally understand the pressure he deal in baduk world and him to see how wonderful having her by his side and she doing amazing taking care of him

4. the flasher scene we can see he is capable in protecting her and he see another side of her where they both bevome secret keeper of each other

5. the manito scene it one of the first we can see how she unconsiously showing taek always her priority without realizing herself like she want him to be her secret santa, picking his glove over jh. same when dr ask who she like she just instinctly choose Taek without hesitation and not even thinking...same when she cry in ep15 she just ignore BR and SW while sulking but the moment she herd Taek voice and see him she immediately pay attention at him and stop what she doing..she more concern with his tired look than her own sadness is really something.nthere just this switch in her unconcious brain or heart that Taek>>>everything else

well i might end up listing every single moment so better stop and say i love ALL of them since everything is precious and would make perfect mvs 

yes i would be sad if he end up not the husband after all the build since im greedy despite knowing taektanic fate the moment i enter here but whatever storm hitting the ship i would not let go just give me pizza i will be fine and maybe some taek's sleeping pill to sleep until next 2 week

Is it true that Taek asks DS to return JH's wallet to JH? Do you think Taek could have wanted for DS to see that photo in JH's wallet? If so, aigoo our kind Taekie trying to be Cupid...  

But strangely happy to see this happen as it keeps our ship alive. I still think no one will be with DS in 1989. I just hope Taekie doesn't give up in the future. I keep having this weird feeling that Taek might continue to give up while JH might in the future decide to just go for it. Because really JH's story is really underdeveloped. It's either the writer meant for him to be underdeveloped or the writer has a major reversal for him planned ahead...

There are 4 guys in R88, 3 guys will involve in husband hunting and the third guy that they're introduced is the husband (in 1st episode)..

Like I said, I'm crazy hehe.. No matter what people said, I am now sure that TK is the husband.. If he's not, I'm still happy because his character is so strong and his relationship with DS is deeper than other characters

 

For some people who think R88 is about their 'Main OTP', imo, they didn't see the bigger picture.. R88 is not about the love line but it's about family and each character development is important.. Even though i feel so disappointed because JH is kind of stuck now.. He's really good character though 

Don't you all love when TK gave his dad, his permission, he's such a mature.. He didn't hesitate one second.. He wants his dad to be happy.. And I love that scene sooo much.. So please TK's dad and SW's mom, please be happy together

I noticed some disappointed people in the main thread said they havent watched the past 3-4 episodes....which is like shocking to me because the superman ep was soo good ...i did think there was some fillers in the past two episodes ( why was SW and Bora scenes cut so short!) but in the big scheme of the show its fine. I think people that pay attention only to scenes of JH would find the past 6 episodes or so lacking but like TK/DS shippers know the depth of narrative that has happened. 

sidenote: cheese in the trap is coming on the 4th and might help with the wait
