So I'm reading the comments on DB for ep 13 and I'm screaming so loud. 

There's a particular shipper(not this ship) who posted and I kept nodding my head in agreement over what she said and trust me I AM TEMPTED to post it on the main thread but it will cause trouble so I'm holding myself.But I really want to post it But I won't LOL. 

There is another who posted and said this,"as far as I can see,Taek is placing all his stones in one place. He will swoop in for the endgame soon". 

There are other posts but I think y'all should go read DB comments and see for yourselves.  You need to read the mature and calm analysis on Taek. I was overjoyed.

Lol..just read through. You will know when you read it. Once you start screaming "yes yes" in your head/nodding you will know.

Can i just applaud you for your analysis on baduk in the main thread. Never knew it was that strainous. There is a line you wrote that i really love..."one main difference between baduk and other board games: a fight for territory without the necessity to destroy other opponents" . From my understanding, its more like defeating your opponent without the use of force. The same can apply to our everyday lives. @shooastrid

I loved Ep.14 so much! Awwww.

The focus is back to the kids, less on the parents. Sun-Woo broke my heart. So touching. I'm still crying.

I loved that Jung-Pal wouldn't give up his pink shirt. We're gonna see him wearing that soon enough.

(When did everyone start calling him "Jung-Pal"? Is it supposed to be like Yong-Pal? Ha ha.)

Loved loved LOVED them showing Duk-Seon caring for her epileptic classmate. She may suck at schoolwork, but she has empathy and emotional intelligence, and I loved that the writers made a point of emphasizing that.

I know everyone has their crushes, and I love just about every character on this show, but I think my crush might be on Duk-Seon. She's so lovable! I'm completely won over by her giant cartoon face and her adorable behavior. I love it when she falls asleep with her mouth hanging open and drooling. I love it when she's doing her ugly-crying.

Loved Dong-Ryong as the sage. He does have the best life advice for everyone, even though he is the biggest goofball and porn hound in the group. And he asked the most important question of all: who does DS like? It doesn't matter how much the other boys like her, it only matters who she likes. It will take time for her to figure it out, she's still young. I'm sure she'll make the right choice. (TAEK.)

Just went to read recaps on Ep 13 and browse through the comments. All I can say is wow.................. I'm so speechless about how insensitive some of those comments were. I can tolerate (more like mentally gloss over) the issue about 'main otp' and whatnot. But this person comments about (and I quote) how she "kinda want them to kill TK off"....seriously that's going over the line. Even with the reason that she wants to see how the neighbors will react to the tragedy so that we can see more of their characters. Isn't the plane crash and DK's Mom cancer scare enough to see their reaction??? Maybe I'm too sensitive cause I just <3 TK but my jaw literally drop when I read that. The comment hits too close to home i guess :/

It's this bad in DB, now I'm legit scare to sneak into the main thread now lol. Gotta prepare my heart for the land mine over there lol. 

But aside from that, I've read some very intelligent, mature comments that I can't but keep nodding my head, like @mellinadear have mentioned! So glad there are other audience out there who can still see and appreciate our Taek even if they don't necessary a Taektanic (or submarine now? lol) boarders.

sooo with the following scene, the writer had Tk say he is going to confess to the person he loves, and not directly to ds, now this could have been to build angst for the following ep but I also think its serves a greater purpose because if he directly confessed then the words of DR would be again overshadowed by the idea that someone likes ds not who she likes. By him saying he is going to confess to someone, Ds is forced to think about her feelings in the situation.

on another note Tk is wearing the checkered shirt when walking with JH in the preview, and its the same outfit as the instagram/twitter update of TK with his coach, its also the same shirt as the fan picture of him filming a baduk scene

@mangachickavaThank you for sharing the translation of that scene  DR is so witty, at first I thought he was just goofing off but its true that he was being serious, well in a way lol because DS said no one likes her but TK does! That's why now I find it very clever that he did that hehe. I'm also falling for him more and more :)) but TK is still on my top lol

Also, I don't mean to offend anyone and I'm not trying to push this ship up to others but the preview... I am pretty sure that some of the scenes are continuous. JH and TK come home together, they see DS and JH decided to part ways with TK but before he goes in his house he glances over the two and gets heartbroken at the sight of DS-TK moment (or just hurt to see DS sad, still poor JH and DS) anyways, in that specific scene. Doesn't it looks like the main ship is With TK? JH looked liked the 2nd lead and even thought I haven't watched r94, I can sense that "Chillbong" vibe in him.

I totally agree. Taek is not childish or immature at all. He just lets them baby him since that was the way since they were young. And being forgetful to eat or do ‘basic things’ is NOT a sign of being a baby, serious adults who are deep into their profession WILL forget to eat.

In Ep7, Taek’s fan club president is the Reporter Ms Park. Taek has mentioned that he can ‘talk to her as they are close’ if she oversteps and asks dad bothersome questions during his interview.

We are only watching this drama within this neighbourhood. Taek has a huge life beyond this place. He even loans people money ( hahaha)

As far as I can see, Taek is placing all his stones into place. He will swoop in for the end game soon. We are already at Ep14/20.

I feel like Taek resembles his father to the point that its scary how much dependence they have on that ~one person~ In the past, its striking, that taek dad practically became an alcoholic because he lost his universe but he then directed that universe towards taek. My point is that the men in that family tend to love intensely~ to the point , that they are lost w/o that significant other. 

I don't know if I made sense but this drama created characters that I am just all over lol

I haven't watched anything yet and am not daring enough to visit main thread LOL, but it was 30 minutes worth backtracking on this peaceful thread. I love this place so much.

 We, those who are considered ridiculous, delusional and looked at as shoving TK/DS down others' throat by other ship, now have every reason to dream on?!!   

And @Meliere *hugs tightly*, your summary on how your feelings have changed from the beginning up to now pretty much summed up my journey of converting myself from a neutral shipper to a Taekinic boarder. And despite how tiring it gets when rooting for a couple and seeing no progress in them, I regret nothing. 

I'm starting to think JH is a narrator in this love triangle, and it isn't necessarily for the narrator to get the girl in the end. Either Teak or JH who doesn't get picked will be chilboged essentially. And I'm not comparing any of them with Chilbong here, It's the outcome I'm talking about. I didn't watch R1994 when it was aired or joined any discussion here, so I don't know how intense the ship war was. But I bet Reply PD team is fully aware of how damage they've caused for the massive amount of Reply fans who rooted for Chilbong only to see him miserably got ousted. I don't think they're gonna make the same mistake and follow R1994's footsteps.

This is probably just my delusional mind kicks in but please bear with me here (assuming Taek is the husband). If JH's character was built as a narrator and not the husband, it'd help explaining better why TK is the husband and not JH, especially from JH's POV. We'd know "why it is what it is", how JH felt about this love line, why he "gave up" on DS, and how he moved on from it without being so bitter. I think when we see this love triangle from JH's POV and know where he was coming from, why he did what he did, it'd be easier for people to accept the fact that the husband wasn't JH, especially for his fans. If JH was a narrator and showed how he was content with the outcome, or ended up at a happy place without DS, it'd comfort a lot of people who root for him. Sounds like a win-win situation to me. Like I said above who isn't getting picked will get chilbonged, but making either Taek or JH become Chilbong 2.0 is a s**t move. I believe the PD is clever enough to not stab fans, who root for either Taek or JH, in the heart (like what they did to Chilbong's fans) causing them to turn their backs on the reply series. I honestly don't know if what I'm trying to say makes any sense, it's just so hard to translate all those thoughts I got in mind into words. 

I'm happy to see more people have boarded Taekinic as the show's moving forward. The PD sure has sprinkled lots of TK/DS chemistry on this love triangle that makes many of us fall for them and willingly to board on this submarine.

I am silence lurker and today, I decide to place my words here as ' SUNTAEK/ TAEKtanic' SAIL, after watching ep 14, (DR said that I should believe what my heart goes to- Its about who I like and not about who like me-, and its here)

after got struck from ep 1 to 12, while read all of insightful/reasonable posts here, and relates all the signs that I have seen, I want to say this at least to encourage my self and to my fellow shipper here "'Taek is the end of the game, he is the hubby".  I don't know what I have to say to prove it, its hard for me to describe  what is it on my mind now and I have been ready to go down it.

The depression that I felt over going through SW's door to JH's door, and finally the last but not least TK's door, has faded away, because of the TAEKtanic words here, I have to say this " why I stay and read all posts here? --> because I just like it, like being here with you all, if not I can not live my life or survive for the rest of the next coming episodes.

The beginning part where SW cuddles up to Taek, SW is just basically saying "aigoo you are so warm, yah why are you so warm etc etc." (LOL its cute, I would love to cuddle with Taekie too ahahah XD)

If you all don't mind, I want to talk about the almost confession.. Is it me or just my delusional thinking, DS looks a little bit annoyed/angry when she said that TK probably don't like anyone than baduk.. Why she has to be angry/upset? Is it because she upset about JH? And her surprised expression when TK said he has someone that he likes.. It's precious.. 

The writers/pd are such a troll.. After DS-DR moments, then TK said the almost confession..makes us the suntaek have high hopes that DS likes TK..

Joking aside, I would like to say that Jung-Hwan is a fantastic character, and a very worthy husband for DS. He's a grumpy-gus with a heart of gold and tons of love for his family and his friends. What is not to love? And the actor is kicking major butt with this role - he telegraphs SO MUCH PAIN with his eyes, I just want to hug him. And let's not forget his wicked sense of humor. He is easily the sexiest dude in this bunch.

But I do want to tell everyone who is SO SURE JH is the husband - we cannot dismiss the quiet intensity of Taek! He began the series seeming like a lost puppy or baduk-robot. But then we see his layers being peeled away like an onion, and there is so much more to him. I predict that we will see so much more.

For me, I pretty much saw "Future Husband" stamped on his forehead ever since he asked DS out to a movie. Of course, I could be wrong, but it just seems so obvious to me, for whatever reason.

So don't let the JH-shippers bother you. JH is a very strong candidate, which is good, because we wouldn't want this to be too easy and obvious. Taek enjoys a challenge, after all. Heh heh.
