This episode on.... Just count the number of "ya"s that Taekie says to DS... LOL AND he is getting rather mouthy and sarcastic now that he isn't trying his best to be a love-sick puppy...  WHO DOES THIS SEEM MORE AND MORE LIKE NOW??

ok so if there is a possibility of the kiss being real (maybe it looked dreamy like because TK took lots of medicine before falling asleep?) why do u think DS would act like nothing happened? and if this is from the point of view of DS and her getting together with her future husband why would they include this scene in? just for shits and giggles? pretty useless of them I would say and cruel for them to tease DS/TK shippers with this and JH being the end game...

its not cruel.... but necessary.... DS in 1988 was not ready for a relationship...she had too many things on her mind... but what is great is, she now has the self confidence that, someone DOES like her!! I think she is pushing herself to be as good as Taekíe's level.... 

And Taek has improved too...he seems totally able to take care of himself now.... instead of needing others to help him tie his laces etc... and he seemed to also be coming out of whatever shell he had been hiding ( cue the turtle joke hahahaha)

Now that I watched episode 17 video - man how sweet is it that DS waits outside for Taek to come home and hobbles to his house even when Taek asks her to go home? Does this not remind you of SW? When his foot was injured and yet SW still hobbled all the way to DS house to pretend to borrow stuff just so he could see BR? I think DS totally had some feelings for Taek at that point in time!

Moving on to the topic of dreams - I find it interesting how everyone's dream in this episode was mainly related to what they wanted to become / future occupation. But for Taek, perhaps because he is already a professional baduk player, his dream was really only DS. Awwww our Taekie. I actually don't mind that it was a dream scene. Because if it was real, I don't know how DS could kiss him back (SHE TOTALLY KISSED HIM BACK) and act like nothing happened in the next few years. 

Damn I know I said I don't want to have high expectations that Taek is the husband, but I just can't help hoping and wishing and praying that he's the husband! AHHHHH

@kilaalaa I don't know if you noticed that scene where he drinks the water for meds ( before the kiss scene) ...they even made him CHOKE and COUGH.... LOL  Its a running joke that Choi Taek can't swallow properly?? He also choked on his coffee at the beach... this writer is too good with all her intricate planning..... Come on we saw DR scratch his butt for how many eps ago now?? 

The future hubby also choked when he drank his water in the 2015 flash forward scenes hahahahaha

OMG I didn't notice that but if so, kyaaaa another positive for us! Please please please let Taekie be the husband!

Now that I think about it, I think DS had some feelings for Taek even before the bridal style hug that made her all flustered. At the beginning of the football scene, DR was the one who gave DS a piggyback ride to the football field. DR was complaining all about DS being very heavy but DS was extremely pleased to get a free piggyback ride and reluctant to get off. So much so that SW had to take her off.

BUT when Taekie offered to give her a piggyback ride, DS hesitated for a really long time. Now maybe she's thinking, "What if I'm too heavy?" or maybe even "Taekie that baduk nerd can't possibly be fit enough to do this". STILL! Its a sign that DS doesn't view Taekie as just a normal platonic friend! And this was even before the bridal style carry! 

KYAAAA Episode 17 was such a great episode! I keep finding new stuff to spazz about when I rewatch this episode!

maybe my opinion is unpopular, but i dont really like DS adult version, something just feels so odd about her. well maybe because time can really change people, or maybe because LMY cannot really deliver DS' character. thats why i'm not really interested to see future scene because i dont like the cast
