EXY Is the First Revealed Member of Cosmic Girls

The first member confirmed for Starship Entertainment‘s newest girl group Cosmic Girls is none other than EXY.

EXY made her first public appearance as a contestant on “Unpretty Rapstar 2,” despite only being a trainee at the time. According to a statement from an industry insider on December 4, EXY solidified her spot in the group as the main rapper.

Cosmic Girls will be promoting in Korea as well as in China as part of a collaboration project with Chinese media management label Yuehwa Entertainment. The new group will have 12 members, making them one of the biggest girl groups in K-pop. Meanwhile, Starship Entertainment is the mastermind behind other hugely popular stars, such as K.Will, SISTAR, Mad Clown, Junggigo, Boyfriend, and MONSTA X.
