Watch: Singer Gummy Impresses With Soulful Song on “Sugar Man”

On the December 1 broadcast of JTBC’s “Sugar Man,” singers Gummy and Park Jung Hyun put on a showdown.

MC Yoo Hee Yeol’s team song was singer BANK’s 1995 hit song “Can’t Have You.” Gummy took over the vocals with her soulful rendition of the song with help of the band and Yoo Hee Yeol’s piano accompaniment.

Gummy immediately won over the audience with her signature husky and persuasive voice that matched the sad melody of the song.

The audience responded explosively to Gummy’s performance resulting in beating MC Yoo Jae Suk’s team by seven votes.

With Gummy and Park Jung Hyun’s appearance, the seventh episode of “Sugar Man” scored above three percent in its viewership ranking for the first time.
