ANGELINA JOLIE & BRAD PITT COZY UP FOR VANITY FAIR ITALIA

Husband and wife Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt pose together for the November 2015 cover story from Vanity Fair Italia. The pair are photographed by Peter Lindbergh in a series of intimate portraits where they cozy up. The actors star in the film, ‘By The Sea’, where they play a married couple with issues.

In an interview with WSJ. Magazine released earlier this month, Angelina talked about the difficult task of being a couple and playing a troubled husband and wife on film. Angelina said, “it could be a disaster” for some couples. “But as soon as we got home, it was bedtime stories, children’s needs and problems, the fights they’d had during the day. We had to immediately snap back to something that was uniting and positive and loving.”

ANGELINA JOLIE AND BRAD PITT GRACED THE COVER OF VANITY FAIR ITALIA, TALKS ABOUT FIGHTING LIKE ANY OTHER COUPLE, WANTS TO GROW OLD TOGETHER

The power couple of Hollywood is in the news once again. The gorgeous looking Angelina Jolie and the very talented and suave Brad Pitt recently graced the cover of the Italian edition of Vanity Fair.

There were a lot of rumors about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were heading to splitsville, however, that news turned out to be exactly what it was, a rumor! The two of them are going stronger than ever and there is no question of them separating.

In the recent film, By the Sea, the two of them play an estranged couple who are trying to sort out their problem while being stuck in a hotel room along the beautiful French coast.

Set in the 1970s the film is beautiful when it comes to the cinematography and the aesthetics, but it was monotonous and dull when it came to the plot and the story line.

There were a lot of buzz surrounding By the Sea since it was written and directed by Angelina Jolie herself. She directed Brad Pitt in the film. Given the complex nuances and the time period it was dealing with, there were a lot of expectations from the film, but then all of it fell flat in reality when it did not work out in the theatre.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had met for the first time on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith where they fell in love. Brad Pitt broke up with then wife Jennifer Aniston and moved on with Angelina Jolie. They adopted babies and had kids of their own and even got betrothed to each other after being forced to by their children.

By the Sea was a special experience for them since it brought the two of them together for the first time since they had started dating and they had come such a long way since then.

While talking about her experience, Angelina Jolie told The Telegraph that the experience of working in a film together with Brad Pitt was very different since the last time.

When they had first met on the sets of Mr. & Mrs. Smith they were young and didn’t know each other at all. They had felt that the experience would be the same.

However, they were in for a shock since they have changed so much since 2005. They are far more open with each other and this caused them to make a pact to speak out honestly if there were some problems in each other’s working.

Angelina Jolie used her married name for the first time in the film credits. This showed how comfortable in her life with Brad Pitt. She had used the name Jolie Pitt and according to Oregon Live, By the Sea was very close to her heart because of her hard struggle after undergoing mastectomy.

Angelina Jolie had been very public about her decision to undergo mastectomy and remove her ovaries since she had the genes of a rare form cancer that had taken her mother’s life.

She had been public about giving up the vital organs that made her a woman because she made a conscious choice to continue living with her loved ones instead of succumbing to the disease.

Brad Pitt had stood by his wife like a pillar in the difficult times. He had gone out in the public to say how beautiful his wife was. The gestures that Brad Pitt made at those difficult times and the way he extended his love and support to Angelina Jolie showed to the world the kind of mutual respect and love the two of them shared.

In the recent Vanity Fair cover that they have graced also carried the headline that the two of them were truly happy in love.

In the magazine, Angelina Jolie had gone on to say that she is happy that she and Brad Pitt are getting an opportunity to see each other grow and mature, and that she loves his 50 year old self more than she loved his 40 year old self. She also said that she looks forward to growing old with him.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are like any other normal couple. They have agreed to fighting with each other. The two of them said that the fights that they had only went ahead to strengthen their relationship.

They said that the main reason for couples fighting is that they are so close. In spite of all the fights, Angelina Jolie said that, the foremost thing to remember is that her job is to continue loving her husband and the father of her children and that is what keeps them going strong.

Angelina Jolie, the Oscar-winning actress, has been made an honorary dame by the Queen for her campaign work fighting sexual violence and for services to UK foreign policy.

The 39-year-old film star, best known for her role in Hollywood blockbuster Tomb Raider, was presented with the award during a private audience with the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

After the presentation, Jolie’s husband, Brad Pitt, and the couple’s six children, were shown into the Palace’s 1844 room and presented to the Queen.

As an American, Jolie, cannot be addressed as Dame but can use the initials of the award - DCMG - after her name.

The actress, co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative( PVSI), was recognised in the Diplomatic Service and Overseas Birthday 2014 Honours list and received the honorary damehood for services to UK foreign policy and the campaign to end war-zone sexual violence.

During the audience, the Queen presented the actress with the insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman said Jolie spent around 20 minutes with the monarch.

The award was first announced in June during the week when Jolie was co-chairing the End Sexual Violence in Conflict (ESVC) global summit in London with then foreign secretary William Hague.

She said at the time: “To receive an honour related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to. Working on PVSI and with survivors of rape is an honour in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine.”

Her work as a humanitarian runs parallel to her career as a leading actress who has been a huge box office draw for more than a decade.

She has been described by US Secretary of State John Kerry as a "fierce and fearless advocate" and he said her dedication to campaigning could overtake her successful film career as her lasting legacy.

Jolie, who won an Oscar for best supporting actress in the drama Girl, Interrupted, is also special envoy of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

The actress announced in a New York Times article last year that she had undergone a preventative double mastectomy because she carries the 'faulty' gene BRCA1, which sharply increased her risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

Brad Pitt’s Make It Right builds 109 homes in Katrina-hit New Orleans

Brad Pitt is making his mark on New Orleans.

So far his Make It Right project has built 109 houses to replace some of those destroyed by Hurricane Katrina 10 years ago.

When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in late August 2005, it left an overwhelming amount of wreckage where homes once stood and, tragically, claimed more than 1800 lives. This Saturday will mark  10 years since the devastating event and no celebrity is more in sync  with the anniversary than Brad Pitt.

Pitt, along with the help of 20 internationally renowned architects, launched Make It Right  after Katrina, a project set to build 150 houses  to replace many destroyed homes in the hard-hit Lower Ninth Ward.

N1.jpg

Pitt was to later face many challenges along the way, however that didn’t stop him or his team from plugging along. To date, the non-profit has built 109 colourful, sturdy and eco-friendly homes.

N2.jpg

We went into it incredibly naïve, just thinking we can build homes – how hard is that?Pitt – New Orleans Times-Picayune

Some of the world’s most celebrated architects, including Frank Gehry, designed the tall, angular, solar-panelled homes that now line the streets.

N3.jpg

The residents – limited to teachers, first responders, and people who lived or had family members in the neighbourhood before Katrina hit – chose some of the features themselves, including the exterior paint colours, and the amenities.

N6.jpg

Built with reusable, non-toxic materials and solar panels, and filled with energy-efficient appliances, the homes are a reflection of Pitt’s belief that low-income housing does not have to use “the cheapest materials that keep families in a poverty trap”.

N8.jpg

Though initial materials may be costly, they contribute to overall better quality of life later on.

N9.jpg

Pitt said he’s driven through the neighbourhood and struck up conversations with homeowners sitting on their porches. “I say what’s your utility bill? And they’ll throw something out like, ’24 bucks’ or something, and I feel fantastic,” said Pitt. “It’s a reminder of why we’re there.”

N10.jpg

There are more houses on the way, with Make It Right breaking ground on new projects every month.

Be still, our hearts! Two of Hollywood's hottest hunks, Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling, converged on one red carpet in New York City on Monday, Nov. 23 — and it was just as glorious as you'd imagine.

Pitt, 51, and Gosling, 35, joined their costars Steve Carell and John Magaro, as well as producer Brad Grey and screenwriter/director Adam McKay, at Manhattan's Ziegfeld Theater for the premiere of The Big Short.

The film, which also features Christian BaleFinn Wittrock, and Marisa Tomei, is based on Michael Lewis' book about the housing and credit bubble of the early aughts.

"I thought it was important because these big banks got away with everything and none of them were prosecuted or brought to justice," Pitt told Us Weekly at the premiere. "Because of that, we've learned nothing."

On a lighter note, the Fury actor also opened up to Us about working with eldest son Maddox, 14, on the set of By the Sea, his new movie directed by and costarring wife Angelina Jolie.

"I can't describe a father's pride," the dad of six gushed. "I feel so much of it . . . There's a lot of emotions."

Pitt and Jolie, 40, are also parents to Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7.

"Maddox and all my kids are so warm and they take on more than anyone could understand, more than I could ever understand," the actor told Us. "They absorb so much, and I love watching all my children grow and learn. And of course my wife is amazing, and I love watching her teach and grow with our kids as well, I really mean that."

In fact, asked to name the most inspiring person he'd ever worked with, Pitt said, "My wife!"

Brad Pitt sighted looking gaunt again on BMW motorcycle in LA

Brad Pitt was spotted looking rather lean and drawn this past Saturday as he clambered onto a BMW motorcycle in Los Angeles, says "Celebrity Connected"

The Shawnee-born 53-year-old had zipped himself into a pale grey bomber jacket, emphasizing his slender legs in a pair of fitted jeans.

His apparent weight loss comes months ahead of shooting on Ad Astra, directed by James Gray, whose latest film The Lost City Of Z Brad helped produce.
