Hi guys, maybe you had read my post on the main thread. I just want to repost it again here, hmm, maybe because this thread feels like a home? LOL.

Ok, I know it's too late to say this. But, actually I heard Jung hwan said "I love you" instead Deok Sun said "Jung hwan a~" I repeated the preview over 50 times I think?, and I'm really sure it's a man's voice. My sister learned Korean language, and she said the same thing. She's really convinced that it's "I Love You" instead "Jung Hwan a~"  Is it because the video file that I've downloaded? IDK, But, k-netz also heard the same thing, and they shared it on DC, rite??

But I'm ready to be proven wrong. LOL.

No, i don't hear any 'i love you' comes out from a male voice. It's female voice although i'm not sure what she's actually saying. Did you probably mistake it with sun woo's voice which came before it?

Actually I went to re-watch the teaser again and it does sound like JH saying "sarang han da" very quickly. If someone can slow down the vid we can probably hear it better. Although it sounds to me like they edited the sound on purpose to make it unclear hahaha.

As much as I want to hear JH said that. I seriously didn't hear him saying those words that refers to "I love you" (well, so far, I only know "saranghae", "cuahe", and "sarang han da") And believe me, I do have a high tendency to be delusional about this couple since I love them so much XD.

I made an FMV using that voice before, and since I have to edit it, I heard it a coupe of times, but still, can't hear that "I love you", only "Jung Hwan Ah~". But didn't make it less sweet though since it came out from DS mouth and sounded very gently too 

But if you maybe have a record of that sound, I love to hear it. (Now, I'm wondering, do we all watch the same preview? LOL)

Sadly in Korean they don't use Subject often, so this narration is meant for generally explaining the whole situation not the one who narrates the part. It's like 'those feelings wanted to be known but also didn't want to get caught at the same time, because they're just 18th years old"

I was curious about the erotica novel that JH read and did some research. "황홀한 사춘기" or "Ecstatic Adolescence" was an actual erotica novel written by a Japanese writer and that became popular among teenage boys in the 80s after it was translated into Korean. (Because not all households had VHS players, reading porn, as opposed to watching porn, was a lot more common back then.)

It was hard to find any info on this book because in the 80s, it was distributed in Korea illegally without copyright permission and so, eventually had to be removed from circulation. 

There were many inquiries about the book after the AM1988 aired the episode, but not many before. Except for a posting on an online forum on February 2015 where user name Sabatica asked if anyone had any information or a copy of the novel as they needed it for research purposes. Now many people suspect that this Sabatica person is either Lee Woo Jung, her assistant, or someone from the drama production team doing research in preparing for writing AM1988 back in February of this year.

Someone did post an excerpt from "Ecstatic Adolescence" on DC gallery, and I read it... and it really is just utter trash. I now see why DS looked so disgusted at JH and called him an animal.

I have had my share of reading trashy novels in the past (oops, did I just confess that here?). But "Ecstatic Adolescence" still left me disgusted. The excerpt I read described a teenage girl and her teacher who is trying to take away her virginity. (Not knowing that she already had sex with her bf the day before.) The excerpt I read is the sex scene between the girl and the teacher... so umm... yeah. 

 

my take to this: well, good luck to Deok Sun. Her future husband is a beast hahahaha!!! i'm impressed to Jung Hwan and is curious at the same time how he managed to hold himself back after reading that novel and then being left alone with Deok Sun, and Deok Sun isn't helping at all since she snuggled on the same blanket. haha it must have been a torture to Jung Hwan

I've just rewatched a preview video on youtuube n i did hear JH said something instead of Duk Sun's "Jung Hwan ah", but i dunno what does it mean ^^ It's surely the whisper of a boy!!!
