About that, I wish it could be a 24 episodes drama instead. Reply 1994 had so many kiss scenes between the leads, but reply 1988, with 1 hour and a half long in every episode, only gave SWxBR and JBxMO kiss so far. The torture is amazing I can say.

@carolinedl yea i think some people misunderstood the conclusion of her post, like some people in general probably would think so because she mentioned TK at the end.../ they refuse to budge. well, let's just let them be.. she said that based on script alone, JH is the husband and if you take away the 'first love' element, all the other reasons are pointing strongly toward JH.

They should totally make special episodes for them after episode 20!!! I don't care when they do it, I will wait till the summer but it's a MUST!! They made extra episodes/special edition for playful kiss on youtube, so why not for R88 !!!

@hafunohane I never shipped TK, but I could see in ep 2 that he liked DS. He drank his milk and DS pat his but and then that smile! YES he likes her was my thought. Also when they were talking about their class trip and him asking DS if she was going to the same place. Again I knew he liked her. I noticed everything about TK she mentioned in that long post, but it didn't change my ship. I think PBG did a good job in acting those scenes, because it was quite clear. Though if you don't pay attention to it, then it's difficult to see I agree. He was just a Baduk genius, no one was thinking that far.

Anyway i  still believe that Jung Hwan is the husband. If not, I may not watch the last ep as i did with reply 1994. No matter how many times I watch R94, i still swoon with Chilbong. 

What I like about DS - She is a normal average girl while in other Reply series, the heroin tend to be more "boyish". So a lot of us can relate to DS and she make me remember when I was as innocent as her.

What I like about Jung Hwan- IMhO, he kinda like mixture of ChilBong and Yonjae. he make me swoon like CB and Yon jae did.

Scene that I want to have

1. Solving the chocolate mysteries
2. Jung Hwan do romantic confession. I hope he make the paper crane or the paper plane and give to DS

what mystery? who is the one got the chocolate from DS? obviously it's SW, in my opinion. because, in ep 3, Mi Ok & Ja Hyun tell DS that SW likes her is on august 1988. and DS put the chocolate in SW's bag is on Sept 1988 (based from the date on Kim appa's camera)

but probably DS has more than one chocolate and give it to someone else

All clue and all hint JH become husband its make my days smiling and smiling again, even since ep 3 i dont doubt JH is the husband. I watch all reply series and my ship always sailing. Writer always obvious since ep 1, who's end the game, so the one that steal my heart first, he is. Like how YJ from R97, even I'm sure he's the husband, but until ep 16, 1% of my heart afraid about Tae Woong. In R94, since they flasback that Trash oppa not her real brother, I am sure he was the husband.

every main couple in reply seris have their own song, that always played in OTP scene and I remember how i love Sung Si Kyung - To You as Na Jung and Trash Oppa song scene and also Oh Hyuk - A Little Girl as JH-DS song scene. I trust the writer, she know what she write and I am sure she will not make a mistake again. Thats why in the beginning she and Sin PD say R88 not about husband hunting game, because its obvious since beginning its about JH and DS, how they fall in love each other, how they love grow, how they solve the problem like 18 yo teenager. And we all know, all about this triangle, main focus is JH. All his expression killing me, Ryu Jun Yeok is great actor!

About chocolate, you are still discuss about it. I am sure DS give it to SW because her crush at that time is SW. She put above SW bag, but we cant see it when SW take his bag because Jin Joo ate it. DS just put under SW blazer, not inside his bag, so i think he will drop it when he take his bag, but no. JinJoo was crying back then and suddenly we can see she stop crying, so i think DS give that chocolate to Jin Joo. Lee Mi Yeon dont remember it, because its 27 years ago and her crush to SW is bad memory for her. OR she really give JH chocolate, but not in that scene but in other scene, like manitto present, or even before she had crush on SW. I always believe DS like JH first, JH is DS first love. And I hope the one that DS write in her diary is JH, not SW. If its SW, and BR read it, i think BR will thinking of her dongsaeng when SW confess to her. And then, tehy zoomed manitto paper next to DS diary, so thats it. DS first love is JH

But you know, JH is really rude to her, not even nice to her, always call her babo, michin and other. Thats why she gave up even before she confess. She say her celebrity name is Lee Mi Yeon, i think she propose to say it because she know JH like LMY, so she hope JH will like her back. But you know, they always bickering thats why DS think her love will not accepted. She gave up and search one who love her, thats why she excited with SW, but, SW love her sister and she broken heart. She doesnt want to broken again, thats why she cant see JH loves her. Because she dont want to wrong again and she always thought JH will never love her. But with Hajima scene, she sure JH love her and she excited again, because JH is her first love, so that time she struggling to get JH  attention and showing she love him back.

Yes, she angry because that shirt, if I become DS, I would be upset seeing that my gift used another person. But, she cant helping hate her the way she hate SW, because she love him more than her crush to SW.

Ah, I think we really need time jump in ep 17, because I am sure R88 is like R97. And I think TK will follow Tae Woong path, he  will gave up the girl that he like because his precious bestfriend. And I really hope TK will find a girl soon and make development with his character and also his love line too. I ship him with Jin Joo, but if their parent remarried, I think we cant see TK-JJ couple. So, what abou JJ with DR? HAHHAHAHAHAHHA, so 4 family in Ssangmundong will be an extended family

Me too I dreamt about them as well being lovey-dovey, although JH- DS were side by side smiling widely, I could also see TK running behind them smiling widely.. Not that I am a perv but my first instinct when I saw this scene was that "yes, there is a chance he could of gotten a boner by her reaction". After his face was trying so hard you see her sensing something and looking down too than they both try to back away from each other as much as possible. DS was def not sure whats going on she is still innocent. HAHA.

They are young teens in puberty after all and JH has been watching a lot of "ya-dong" aka porn films lately thanks to Dong-ryong so with this close encounter its def. a possibility with the way the scene was shot but it was also shot to leave the viewers guessing this is my guess.

Just a thought guys, as much as I'm frustrated with SW and DR being JH's best friends and not knowing he likes DS really makes me think that they should've known about this matter but choose to keep quiet. 

Ep 15:

I wonder why DR forces DS into JB and JH's house for the meal? Like he knows DS can meet JH? It's like he wants them to meet or something

Ep 16:

At TK's room when TK and DS were outside, SW asked JH JOKINGLY whether he wants to come and spy TK and DS when they're watching movies. And DR smiled when SW said that. It's as if the two boys are provoking JH to just be honest about his feelings towards DS. Like, "dude, IF YOU LIKE DS AS A WOMAN JUST SAY IT!"

ㅋㅋㅋ I don't know if I'm overthinking about this, but isn't it weird that SW and DR don't know that JH likes DS? I mean, even DR said "there really is no secret in the neighborhood, huh?" If im not mistaken?
