I think most probably HS will say her goodbyes to WW in the next episode. Maybe we can see a playful side of WS when he is trying to cheer HS up.

What was that beautiful piece of music... so ethereal... that we sent off Court Lady O with...  Just gorgeous. Quietly triumphant and elegant.

I am speechless... I really didn't think the poison tea scene yesterday could be topped but oh my word... words fail me... So many powerful scenes and the one at the end between So and Su... really hit me in the gut.

This was the episode where the women shined... good or evil... this episode was theirs. 

Drats... someone's been cutting onions.

Just something that has been bothering me. We keep giving Wook an out, saying 'but his family' when they are in no danger at present. They may not be as influential as Queen Yoo but surely that's down to his mother not showing her hand enough. She's too passive aggressive. Yes they had a travail when he was younger and they were sent away from the palace. But that is no longer the case. His mother is a Queen. Does she not have some burden here to look after the family as well as his father who is King? They are not without power surely? From her position, she must be from a strong clan otherwise how would she have climbed to the title of Queen and not just be a mere concubine? We keep laying responsibility for his mother and sister at Wooks feet. When he is not the head of the family. They have a father. Why don't they marry Yeon Hwa off into a wealthy and strong family and get connections that way? Wook has already done so, so what pray tell is the hesitation with Yeon Hwa??

Yeon Hwa - When Wook found out about her duplicity he killed the servant so there would be no connection between the two. He's protecting her at the price of Hae Soo's life. He could have gone to the King or his mother with Yeon Hwa's wrongdoing but he chose not to. I could have understood better if she had shown remorse for her actions but that is not the case... so he is encouraging her bad behavior which will surely lead to further grief down the road. The King would not have killed her.. maybe a stern talking to and she would have lost some of his favour but all in all, for the life of the woman he professes to love, you'd imagine it to be a fair trade. 

Instead he talks Lady Oh into taking the fall for the poisoning. He truly is a coward and I hope he suffers many sleepless nights over it. 

It was shame and guilt that drove him to turn his back on Hae Soo but I'm glad he did. At least now she knows the man he really is and his words, no matter how honeyed, mean nothing at the end of the day.

I felt Ep. 10 was a bit of a lull, thought Wang So was cute when he told Haesoo that he was OK with Baekah not bein' the one that Haesoo is in love with! Ah brotherly love LoL. *Whew* In Ep. 11 however... what an emotional roller coaster Court Lady Oh has a point, both Wang Wook and the King are cowards. Honestly I don't know how anyone could sleep well in that palace well maybe except for that Evil Queen Yoo Such a vile, disgusting human being. What a nest of vipers the palace is with everyone backstabbing one another sheesh. 

Poor Haesoo, first losing Lady Hae and now Court Lady Oh. I'm glad she has Wang So by her side... still. Even if she can't find it in her heart to love him back. Say what you will of Wang So bein' a brute & all but hey, at least the man has the guts to stand up for his ladylove. Just love him already Haesoo-ah~    

Thought Joonki looked so majestic dressed all in Black while shielding IU from the rain, he looked like a Raven *swoons*

They seem bent on taking away the people that would try to protect HS. All the lady that care about HS seem to end up dead one way or another. 

I keep feeling they are trying to drive her into a corner until she has no choice but to break.

Do you think Hae Soo will go face to face to Wang Wook and break up with him like in the cversion?

I really want Hae Soo to find out that it was Wang Wook that even asked Lady Oh to save Hae Soo (hinting for her to take the blame instead) it shows that he didn't really put effort into saving her just trying to shift the blame onto another innocent to let Hae Soo escape. If Hae Soo finds out do you think she can sleep in peace knowing that?

Such a beautiful, the one when WS protected physically HS from the rain and when he took her in his arms at the end ! WOW !!!!   Too much feelings tonight to be honest !!

Can't believe Wook killed the woman  ! I really did not expected it

I definitely love the OST played during death of a character. I love it so much along with "forgetting you"

Woo Hee Jin (Lady Oh) slayed it this week. She is diametrically opposite to Queen Yoo. The queen didn't bat an eyelid when WS drank poison and who looked like he would die. Lady Oh willingly died for HS who is not her own child. The character was awesome. My only regret being I wish they had introduced her early on. But I understand that in a show with these many characters it is tricky to do. I still am happy they put her there. She could have taught the palace a lesson or two about nobility and dignity.

I think the scene where Wook and So fighting is not one cor the throne because Yo still there. Maybe they fight to become a commander of certain legion. Because there are so many warriors but none of them do anything like real battle. Idk, as I say anything goes in this drama. 

I wanted to say it is the battle for the girl, but I guess it goes without saying. 

I still hasn't get my fave scene yet. I wonder where they will put it now when Wook and Soo already done. Who does he search for in that room? But I'm not dying for it. Wook already half way through his transformation. Giving up on HS is the same as losing her anyway, so that scene is not making me waiting anymore hehe. But I still love to watch if it comes around. It's KHN. 

What I hope right now is HS isn't around anymore when WS marries YH. It just gonna break my heart, more than the executions of Madam Oh. YH can be his wife without being his lover when she already transported back to 21st century. My oh my, I hate that girl so much but pity her at the same time.

At the end of the day, Uk didn't love Su enough. That's all there is to it. I don't doubt that he loved her but not enough to throw away everything for her. 

And that's okay. We all make our choices and we live with the consequences. That is life. He has made his bed and now he will sleep in it. He chose his family over her, which is understandable and he's not the first man who ever did that. I've never ever faulted him for that. Never.

But for a guy who spends most of his life thinking and weighing things up, he didn't think through things enough. He wanted to love Su but he wasn't willing to get his hands dirty to do it. Also understandable because he is a prince and she's just a palace maid. He's concerned about his family's well-being so he can't approach the king rashly... also understandable. He also gets rid of evidence to protect his sister... understandable yes... but the result is a serious miscarriage of justice as well as personal betrayal.

All the choices he's made and have been making are "understandable". However, not equally forgivable. 

He wanted to romance Su and bask in the glow of being with a girl who made him feel alive BUT he wasn't prepared to do the hard yards to actually have an open, legitimate relationship with her UNTIL he realised that So was encroaching into his territory. They conducted their relationship secretly in a cave and that should've given Su enough red flags except of course, she wasn't thinking straight either. He was leading her up the garden path with promises he had no way of keeping. And what's worse is that he gave her false hope and a false sense of security about the deadliest place in all of Goryeo.

As I've said time and time again, he didn't have the personality or the male body parts to really love her. He wanted to obviously... and if prizes were merely given out for good intentions, he might win a consolation prize. But to really love someone radically different like Su requires a strong-minded, reckless force of nature. Which is not Uk at all.

I'm so glad that we've seen the logical conclusion of this relationship. It was good and necessary for the writer to go through the entire process, demolishing it completely by demonstrating in no uncertain terms why this relationship looked good on the outside but was empty on the inside. If she hadn't done it the way she did (so brutally), then some viewers (not me) would always be wondering if Su would have been better off with Uk when things get really rocky with So.
