No it did not happen remember, this is an adaption to the chinese version, so they have to add in scenes on their own to make it intense and good.

in the chinese version the reason why Hae Soo's character is kneeling in the rain is because she was being punished by the king for appealing to let 13th's woman stay with 13th when he was under house arrest for apparently "slandering the crown prince name" it was a trap set by 8th prince for 4th to fall but 13th took the blame for 4th which cause him to be in confinement for 10 years which is the reason why 4th decided to fight for the throne

I believe 9th is just siding with whoever has the most power and support. He's siding with Wang Yo but when the table turn he will side with whoever can give him what he wants

in the chinese version, 9th was pushing and supporting 8th to fight for the throne cause he believes 8th has the potential to be in line to fight for it so he would usually egg 8th on to do things. He also planted a spy within the palace to know what is going on

Super intense episode but one of my favorite parts has to be when WS checked to make sure HS wasn't in love with BA. I just cannot help going 'awwwwwwwwwww' each time evidence of the bromance between WS and BA is shown because it's one of the best things about the show imho. I hope they expand upon and show us more-I need it to survive all the angst coming our way!

I do think you're right, But I wonder if the reason for protecting her would be just because she's his sister or something along the lines of protecting his whole household. If it was revealed that YH was involved in this I think the whole Hae household would be punished in some way...

My stream was so frustrating today, I spent most of my time refreshing the page  
Thank you all for the live-recaps chingus. Reading what has happened in ep 10 has left me feeling melancholy and I'm positive ep 11 is going to have the same affect. 

If tomorrows episode does not change HS perception on WS killing his brothers/ruining everything, I seriously don't know what will. 

I have a feeling that WS won't be in many scenes tomorrow,  unless he recovers really fast.

Ok, well, uhm... the only thing I can think about right now is that tomorrow's episode will open with WS spewing out blood, oh dear! I feel so bad for him that it took me awhile to composed this somewhat coherent post.

This episode once again highlighted the depth of LJG's acting, from all the subtle changes in his facial expressions down to his shaking hands. I am in awe! To be honest, whenever the scenes do not involve LJG's character, my mind wanders and I am not as engaged in the drama, but the moment he appears on screen, my brain automatically reacts to his presence, a testament to how well he is playing his character. Haha...anyway I'll stop here because this post is starting to sound like a creepy fan mail to LJG. 

P.S. The scene where So almost kiss Soo again was really daebak, well actually all the So x Soo moments in this episode were great [... makes me wish I can call him my person & me his, lol] and I had this huge grin on my face when Soo took out the hair pin/ornament that So gave her, from her drawer. She didn't throw it out, which means she does not dislike it nor the person who gave it. Yas! 

P.P.S. I can't believe it's halfway through already, Nooooo!!!

I'm pretty sure WW x HS is going to sink for good within the next episode. I wouldn't be surprised if HS will be more reluctant of being in any relationship with either WW or WS after what she goes through. But at the same time, she will also be seeing who is actively by her side, through thick and thin. WW has made so many empty promises, so I would expect this will ultimately be the last straw for her. If he doesn't even show his face to her while she has been in prison, she will without a doubt feel like she has been abandoned and betrayed. And if he does find out that YH was the one who plotted to kill the CP- and say nothing or he tells her, but justice will not be served, HS will for sure be livid and utterly devastated because of how she was framed and Lady Oh taking the blame in order to spare her life, and is executed.

well at first half maybe but WS is there when HS being released and in the rain scene.. WS not going to stay resting if he knew HS in the jail.. even he still recovering he will act fast to save her...

Haesoo..chaeballll..open your eyes and heart! There's this great guy who even challenges death to protect you. My heart is literally in pain seeing last 10 minutes of tonight's eps. So's pain, his trembling hands, his tortured eyes. My goodness, aside from how heartbreaking the scene was, let's give a standing ovation to this great actor that is Lee Joon Gi. That poisoning scene wowed me to the bones. Kudos to him. He is the king of historical drama, indeed!

I almost lost it with HS's naivety tonight. Whether she's in denial or she's just plain clueless. I hope she already feels at least a tingling of emotion toward So. If not, then I dont know anymore. GIRL, YOU BETTER GET YOURSELF TOGETHER! Am so frustrated.

So's being stubborn on expressing his love to Soo is so cute. His teasing eyes had me flutter <3 <3 <3

Tomorrow will be so intense, how should i survive the 22 hrs of waiting?

I don't think WS will be shown much either... We don't see him much in the preview and I think there's too much happening. We've got the official investigation, arresting, torturing, Wook's personal investigation, Concubine Oh's sacrifice and lastly the rain scene where WS finally appears.. With so much happening I doubt he'll be shown much.

I just hope she will find out soon that wang so was poisoned just to save her and CP. Really hope she learns the truth. And finally she will regain her trust for wang so. Sadly I think the next episode will end with the rain scene and then I bet they will show us a preview of our OTP scenes that will torture us a whole week.
