@deabakdrama  you might be right  I've been giving some thought as to how they might meet again in the future. Is Wang So the person who ends up rescuing Ha Jin from the lake?  Or would she chance upon him at a museum like in the original?

I really think the reincarnation theory is the closest thing we'll get to a happy ending for MLSHR.  (Plus, I'm also basing this on LJG's words that the ending of MLSHR would be a happy one.)  Considering all options, there is no way for our SoSoo / HaeSo to peacefully be together during the Goryeo era. HaeSoo may have all of Wang So's heart, but I'm sure YeonHwa, as queen, would try to find ways to make HaeSoo as miserable as possible. (Heck, she might even have the guts to try to poison Soo out of jealousy! She's queen, she can basically do whatever she wants.)  And HaeSoo, try as she might, will not be able to come to terms with sharing Wang So with anyone else. Coupled with the pressure of YH and being in the palace... it just looks like a bleak future ahead for the OTP.

Of course, I love well done angst, so I can't wait for all these things to happen! But before crap hits the fan and everything goes to heck, give me more cute OTP moments please!

I'm more concerned with how ep 10 will handle the forced kiss, tbh. Hopefully in a manner that makes sense and redeems Wang So.

HE REPEATS IT LIKE A MANTRA, LIKE A PLEA, AS IF THE WORDS ALONE HAD THE POWER TO KEEP SOO WITH HIM; BUT BECAUSE THEY DON’t HE KISSES HER! 

THIS KISSES ARE AWESOME ON SO MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS! However, the main thing that stands out about them is THAT THEY FEEL HEARTWRENCHINGLY REAL! Just like their whole relationship! There are no tightly-pressed lips, only hot opened mouths - IT’S FULL OF NEED AND WANT, IT’S RAW, ARDENT, TURBULENT AND INTENSE, SEARING AND ALL-CONSUMING, AND IT’S MESSY. Because EMOTIONS ARE MESSY, BECAUSE REAL LOVE IS MESSY.

It isn’t the deceptively picture-perfect fantasy she has with Wook; because what’s most unsettling and disturbing about that relationship (where they both claim they love each other) is that they NEVER ARGUE, that she never yelled at him or told him what she really thinks (never shared her fears and vulnerabilites with him, always teling him she is OK when she was not,..) - THAT’S NOT HEALTHY. ARGUMENTS MEAN COMMUNICATION, exchange of different opinions, and communication is crucial for a relationship. Arguing is what normal, real people do BECAUSE THEY ARE FLAWED - THEY DISAPPOINT EACH OTHER, HURT EACH OTHER regardless of gender or how much they love each other, AND THEN THEY MAKE UP - AND THAT’S WHAT MAKES THEM REAL, HUMAN. 

PEOPLE ARE SELFISH AND LOVE IS PERHAPS THE MOST SELFISH EMOTION THERE IS - it includes jealousy, because when you love someone you can’t control it and in a way you want to OWN the person that makes you feel that way, so completely out of control. AND YOU DESIRE THEM - in the year HS’s been in Goryeo she never kissed Wook; she might be 17 physically, but she is a 25 year-old woman where it really matters - she didn’t feel the NEED TO KISS HIM. And Wook hasn’t kissed her either - he was the one who met her first, but it’s So who ends up kissing her first - BECAUSE HE NEEDS HER MORE AND FEARS MORE TO LOSE HER. It’s impossible not to compare the two brothers, considering that they were born in the same year, but THEY COULDN’T BE MORE DIFFERENT - WHILE SO’S BEEN WEARING A MASK HIS WHOLE LIFE HE ISN’T THE ONE WHO’S BEEN HIDING HIS TRUE SELF BEHIND FACADES. So feels this incredible need for HS, he is so much love-starved because he never had anyone to love him, while Wook has been loved his whole life - by his parents, siblings and most of all by Myung Hee - and HE TAKES IT FOR GRANTED. BUT SO DOESN’T HAVE THINGS LIKE THAT, HE MUST FIGHTS FOR EVERYTHING.

I don't live in Japan (I used to), but my Japanese friend sometimes watches Korean dramas with Japanese subs.  Here is a link KNTV's "Rei - Hanamoeyuru Hachi-nin no Oujitachi"  (Japanese name for Scarlet Heart Ryeo) commercial that introduces all the princes.  It kinda reminds me of one of those reverse harem games where they are asking women which prince "fits" your ideal type.  LOL

 

Japanese is NOT my first language, but here is a VERY loose summarized translation of the captions.  Apologize in advance for errors...

Wang So is described as the "Wolf Prince" - - A mysterious man bearing a deep scar
(My Two Cents here: I kinda like this description because they say a wolf only has one love for a lifetime!  That's HS! )

Wang Wook is the "Perfect Prince" full of purity and kindness.  He melts the hearts of women.

Wang Yoo is described as a prince with unrestrained desire and full of ambition.

Wang Un is a puppy-like prince.  Just like a beagle dog who can never be hostile.  (Kinda a weird translation... but that's what it literally says. Maybe there is some second meaning I'm not getting.)

Baek Ah is the "Artful" Prince who is a refined noble accomplished in arts and likes the beautiful things in life.

Wang Jung is the innocent prince who will never say no.  He is a positive and cute prince.

Wang Won is the narcissist prince who has a lot of pride as a narcissistic member of the royal family.

And that's it...
All the princes are listed accept ironically the "Crown Prince."  I guess he didn't make the cut...

why are all say that wook will be the bad ? ,I´m a SoSoo shipper but i like Wang Wook too ,he is so warm and sweet .... many persons judge him for love Haesoo when his wife was sick ,but i find his love for Hae soo so pure  ,
 also the relationship in the families in this era was completly different than now... they could have more than 1 wife and they could married with siblings ...even Haesoo and Wook try that not fall in love , they both felt  guilty for their feelings ....anyway I´m happy that the SoSoo moments are starting but at the same time i think that  Ifeel sad for Wook

Please don't let haters detract from your enjoyment of the drama(s). Yes, some of the posts are getting pretty nasty over there... Both dramas are very good in their own way (even though MLSHR has a special place in my heart right now). Any nastiness on the part of the fans will only sully the drama and the effort of the actors & production team! The other thread is actually doing their own drama a huge disservice by acting that way.

But well, let them perpetuate hate all they want. Over here, we shall just perpetuate love, and share the love we feel for MLSHR. So keep smiling, and don't let them get you down, k?

Thank you @millie10468 for sharing with us.  @zi4r is right. Let's just enjoy the drama. Have you seen the latest still cuts? It's going to get more intense for our OTP -- torture, jealousy, betrayal, political intrigue, oh, and Haesoo finally falling in love with Wangso. I think these things are consuming most of our thoughts now. Thankfully, there's little time, and perhaps, not enough emotion left to worry too much about what others might be saying. PLUS, we can't control anything that's happening outside of this thread. All the more reason for us to do as @zi4r suggests...continue to share the love we feel for MLSHR.

I’ve read some harsh comments criticizing So, accusing him of physical violence, of hurting Hae Soo; but by what impossibly high and double standards do they judge him? It’s so biased and bigoted. He isn’t kissing her to punish her, and don’t be mistaken BECAUSE IT IS SO WHO IS THE WRONGED PARTY HERE. HS might feel illogical fear for him BUT IT’S HE WHO IS BEING HURT HERE BY HER. Does one “forced” kiss EQUAL THE ANGUISH AND PAIN SHE CAUSED HIM WITH HER DISTRUST AND REJECTION? AND HASN’T SOO PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED SO WHEN SHE PUSHED HIM AWAY MOMENTS AGO, AND WHEN SHE HAD PUSHED HIM AWAY IN THE RAIN? He was beyond reproach on those two occasions, merely giving her a friendly hug; he even apologized to her, for Christ’s sake! I’m pretty sure people would call it physical violence if it WERE HIM WHO PUSHED HER LIKE THAT!

Finally, was that kiss really forced? She STOPPED STRUGGLING on her own, but truly she wasn’t even hitting him hard, it seemed more like a half-hearted tapping on his shoulder - she couldn’t have possibly expected that could push him away. HS IS A 21TH CENTRURY GIRL, If she was really that desperate for him to let her go, SHE KNEW WHERE TO KICK HIM, even he wouldn’t expect THAT.

  

Neither one of them is without fault in this situation, NEITHER OF THEM IS BLAMELESS. They are in this together. THEY ARE BOTH SO INCREDIBLY, ACHINGLY HUMAN - THEY MAKE MISTAKES, HAVE MISUNDERSTANDINGS, INSECURITIES AND DOUBTS - AND THAT MAKES THEM BOTH SO COMPATIBLE WITH EACH OTHER AND COMPELLING TO WATCH.
