I'm definitely anticipating the iconic rain scene too... and expecting my heart to be torn into a million pieces, in more ways than one. From the stills we have seen, I can't wait to have our hearts broken by IU's performance.

However, I am fearfully anticipating the forthcoming episodes as well, and praying there will be little to no differences between the two versions... because I just want to be able to wallow in the sorrow with subbed versions the moment they are available. It's pouring over my end now... perhaps the rain ritual will work this time and spare us all?

The best kind of villain is the one that isn't a caricature or a moustache-twirling type. Those are boring. I prefer someone who is driven by something (a principle, cause or passion) and takes wrong turns along the way. Someone who's very self-aware.

I don't really want Uk to turn psychotic on us. Jealousy, ambition and greed are okay but I don't want to turn full-blown Hannibal Lecter. Although KHN would do a brilliant job as a sociopath... he was quite amazing in those first couple of episodes of Missing Noir M. Very talented kid.

I love the horse, how it manages to keep them so close. Whenever they are on a horse he gives her a tight hug. It is the best ambassador of love.

I think HS will be sending away from the palace and to be settle down somewhere in a temple. She is not allowed return to the palace without King's permission. WS will be staying there to accompany her and ease her mind.That's could be HS change her mind to receive WS's love after all the hard time she had. WS is the only person who stands and speaks up for her and staying by her side when she is in a trouble. And she only realizes the person who dwell within her heart  is no longer WW but WS who is willing to give up his life for her. She only then understand if a person wants to survive, he has to fight and kill the others for his own survival.

Because Wang So often appears on his horse, I couldn't help myself searching for the symbolism of horse. Here is the link symbolism of the horse. Here, we can draw many parallels between Wang So and the horse:

- Freedom (which I mentioned in my last post!)

- Strength, despise being broken, Wang So never gives up which proves his strong will and his strength 

- the killing of the horse connected to the Roman tradition. Wang So did the same... continuity of life. He will never give up, fight for his right and place at the palace. Moreover, Mars was in the Roman mythology, the God of War. So his sacrifice could be seen as if he wanted the support of the gods and especially the God of War. 

His horse is black, just like him... and look what it is written in the link: black horse =  Mystery, death, night, secret, messenger of esoteric knowledge

As you can see, there are so many things represented by the horse that is connected to Wang So and his personality and fate!

Annyeong chinguu.. Just watched episode 9, omggg that look in Wang So's eyes right before he kissed Hae Soo, he is in desperate need of Soo's love & affection, oh poor Soo 

Hae Soo reaction at the end thoo! I mean if 4th Prince hit me with the "You belong to me. You are mine" "Without my permission, you cannot leave me. You cannot die either" I was like YES PLEASE!!!" 

Huhu why is her character now suddenly become more and more weak and fragile. I miss the old Hae Soo when she's tough and fearless! I hate it when see started seeing vision of So becoming gwangjong and become afraid of him

Why do I feel like the Gwangjong is not the 3rd or 4th prince but the 8th prince Wook? Am I the only one to think that? Lol 

Anyway I really hope that the kiss from 4th Prince can sparked something in Hae Soo, so that she can start to have real feelings for him <3
