for me, a painful disease. if WS will rule as king, he won't kill/let his mother be killed. He still looks at her as his mother and with HS I think the punishment the queen will receive is being exiled away from the palace then dying somewhere by a deadly disease. I can't think of anyone who will assassinate her at the moment. Since the game of thrones is for the princes, I'm mostly worried that a prince might got killed...

I Know I'm so...soo behind with your commenst. The truth is that many don't have understood what Wang So saw in the eyes of Hae Soo. If she didn't have her eyes wide open, he would not be seen himself. The last scene of the ep. 7 was extremely subtle, and without the help of @bebebisous33 some of us wouldn't have understood his statement about what he hates. Anyway I like the beautiful large open eyes of IU.

GOOD LORD! What a way to hype your excitement on today's episode! This is an A+ effort of the production team to tease its fans.. I'm literally making incoherent noise out in public right now, LOL. 

I really appreciate the translation @wordsmyth0253 thank you so much. The dialogue is really well written, it's simple, beautifully worded and really heartfelt. And the way the scene is directed is very fitting. You can sense all the raw emotions radiating from both of them. This is better than what I imagine, I was looking forward to this the most, this poignant scene, the moment he strip bare all of his fear, where his mighty defensive wall starts crumbling and he let her in. Based on the expression of his face, this definitely will seal the deal. 

Let's celebrate together my friend! I'm already on board with my one way ticket of Wang So's love boat. Happy sailing, y'all....!

How about "Saranghae"?    KDrama always use "yeonmo" in sageuk...

Your question raises other questions. Is she allowed to reveal that fact is from the future. May be the act revealing interpreted as a disturbing factor in this timeline. Are such disturbances to allowed to occur? 

I don't know if and how such aspect was presented in novel/C-version...but may be the act of revealing the reason for Hae Soo to be sent back in her current timeline? Is she allowed to live and die in a different time line or is she sent in the past to learn/correct mistakes/act as a catalyst and return?

It is clear that some strong foundations are being built and that this OTP will need to be one another's strength because of the storms ahead. Already, judging from the previews and tit bits that we're being given, there is yet another thing that will further consolidate Su-So as the OTP... and that will be the suffering that binds them together. They will be put through the wringer, everything conceivable thing will be thrown at them to test their nerve and their resolve especially with regard to their love for each other. We all know how K dramas love to torture their leads to try to break them.

It is beautifully ironic that only a woman from the future without all the baggage of Goryeo's political and social restrictions can break through the prejudices to love a man with some kind of disfigurement. Perhaps this is why she was chosen, to draw him out, to give him confidence and to ultimately "push" him to aspire to ascending the throne. What better person to do this than a skin care-makeup specialist who has a few "scars" of her own.

Already trouble is brewing and their being the brunt of mistreatment is paralleled. They will be exhausted but they will find solace and refuge in one another.

So's arc is rich as well as multifaceted and he is turning out to be one of the most compelling K drama male characters I've come across (arguably second only to Jang Hyuk's character in Beautiful Mind). I really want them to give him a really good romance to sink his teeth into which is worthy of the complex character that he is. So far the writing seems to be on track to do that.

Because Haesoo's getting along closer with the princes, maids in palace start to dislike her. Lady Oh warns Haesoo to stay away from the princes. Meanwhile, during 기우제 제주 (the rain pleading ritual(?) or sacrifice ritual(?)) Wangso's got exposed in front of people. Knowing that Wangso is the one that will do the ritual on behalf Emperor (I get this from a news article I posted) then people show their discontent. Seeing what happen to Wangso, Haesoo decides to help him.

@40somethingahjumma Chingu, this is why this Ha jin's fate to be in Goryeo to meet all the princes. Because of her specialty she will be able to give him the strength and confidence to fight for what he believes in. He will also be able to protect the people who are most important to him.

In this moment you realize that he has been deluding himself the whole time that Hae Soo probably didn’t see his scar well since it was dark and there was steam or that she at least really forgot about it like he told her to, because how else could she be so nice to him. When he tells her to look at him properly it’s as if he wanted to finally beat into her head how damaged and ugly he is. When his family, his own blood, couldn’t accept him how could she?That’s why So can’t comprehend the look in HS’ eyes. However, when his siblings looked at him they only saw his scar, but she sees HIM, THE REAL HIM, ALL OF IT - his damaged body, broken heart and beautiful soul.

What he sees in her eyes frightens and confuses him - sympathy, acceptance, curiosity and something else, something he feels but is unable to name, something Hae Soo hasn’t still noticed herself - and that frightens him the most of all. If the one minute preview does this to me what will the one hour episode do I wonder . It's going to be one awesome episode .
