I have spread the info about the tweet the most I could. @Gabi Bros I was thinking the same. I'm thinking we should plan to do it once a week to coincide with the episodes. If everyone agrees, we can include a picture. The question is...which one should we pick??
Popular Post larinalove
Hey everyone, first time posting here but I've been lurking for quite some time and I must say that I really like your posts, they are so insightful and detailed that often make me think and see things differently, so thank you all for sharing your thoughts and being supportive of the drama. Now, this is going to be a bit of a long post, those of you who are kind and interested enough to read it thank you beforehand. This is my first historical drama, for a few years now I am a regular K-drama watcher, I don't watch a lot of them, only those that for some reason get my attention, but I've never been interested in historical dramas, maybe it was judgmental of me but I always thought of them as the same pattern story line but MLSHR captured my attention after watching a clip of the scene between Hae Soo, Wang Wook and Wand So, in the 3'rd episode when WS tells HS "don't appear in front of me ever again" and she replies "what did I do wrong?, is it a crime to want to live?" and that was it for me because truly the intensity of the scene, the chemistry was undeniable and I didn't even know the full story yet, so i decided to give it a try and now I am addicted!! I knew about the drama, I read it in passing a few times that the filming had began, had seen some pictures of IU dressed in those beautiful dresses and of course about the cast and its controversies but didn't give it too much thought at the time because it was a historical drama and I didn't think I'd watch it. I am not gonna lie, I too in the beginning thought that the cast was overwhelmingly filled with idols, I support talent no matter what but I always think that an actor should be giving priority to in dramas and movies, I understand that producers and directors want the views and to attract a lot of attention and the best way to do that is to cast famous idols that are internationally known, I understand that but that doesn't mean I agree with it. Still, I am not a judging person, I have an open mind so I started to watch it without any prior knowledge of the casts previous works, besides Kang Ha Neul I hadn't seen any previous work of the others, I just knew them and of course had heard their songs and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. After watching all 5 episodes I think ALL the cast is doing their characters justice and are doing a great work. IU is portraying HS very decently, she is very beautiful, her smile is very pretty, the way she acts all bubbly and sweet and also sad and emotional truly make me believe in her interpretation of the character she's playing and that is all we need as viewers, to believe the characters joy, happiness and sadness, so I think she's doing great. LJK, now he has made an amazing impact on me, I had heard from my friend who has watched most of his work that he's a great actor but now I can also testify to it, the way he lives his character is truly amazing, being able to transform himself into the dark, harsh, dangerous Wang So while in real life he seems so cheerful and easy going is amazing. All the others too, without getting too detailed are doing a great job, the hateful comments are baseless and should not be given too much importance. About the story and plot line, now I understand why people like prince Wang Wook and think he is suitable with Hae Soo because I know he is sweet towards her and protective also but I can't help my heart that leans more towards Prince Wang So mostly because he is so lonely and heartbroken and has never known love, he was rejected by those who were supposed to love him unconditionally and all his life has never had someone to care for him. Some may think he is harsh and a bit aggressive for her but think about it, how can you show something you've never known? Because he has never known love or kindness so he doesn't know how to express it, although slowly you can see his walls crumbling and him softening towards her, he has protected her without hesitation from the beating, also I like that the relationship between them is not rushed, you can see them slowly getting to know each other, without pretense, opening up and just chatting and become friends, we will probably see in the next episodes how their relationship will develop more and I cannot wait to see it, I love the chemistry between LSK and IU. I actually loved @bebebisous33 post many pages ago about the difference between the relationship of HS - WW and HS - WS in the scenes of her walking with them, I thought that was a very insightful and accurate description of the nature of their connection. While WW obviously likes her and wants her to be near him, he is the one that changes the steps, opening the distance between them so that she will be needing him to stand up and walk properly, he wants her to come to him without doing too many efforts while WS lets her lead the way and is walking near her and wants to help her but still doesn't and just watches her do her own thing and overcome the task of delivering the bag and smiles in the end like a proud boyfriend, he likes her just like that, without trying to change her. I also think she is drawn to Wook because he was there for her in some difficult situations but her bond with him is shallow while in contrary with Prince So she has a more deep bond emphasized by similar experiences they have been through, betrayal by loved ones, feeling lonely, rejected and so on, that's why for me personally is more interesting to watch how their relationship evolves because Hae Soo is the only person who sees the real So and treats him as an equal, with neither fear nor awe. I found very powerful the scene where he combusts and breaks down after his confrontation with the queen, where he says "can't you understand that I've killed people" and she returns "tell me then why you killed them", that was a significant point in their relationship, because she showed him what others never did and that is understanding, knowing he did what he did because he had no other chance and not because he is evil, showing him that she understands how miserable he feels. So yes, I am in love with the drama, so much so I wrote a super long post about it, LOL, I can't wait to see more of it, let's stay positive and thank you all for contributing with your posts and analysis!
Popular Post gifanchy
Hello everyone I've been lurking here since last week. I saw some of my gifs being posted too so I decided to unlurk and thought I'd say my greetings and express how much I love this drama and all your reviews/insights! You kept me sane for a week, thank you so much Also, I just can't wait to watch more of So and Soo. They're driving me craaaaazy. Lol. Last time I went cray over a kdrama was during Master's Sun. LJK and IU (surprisingly) has great chemistry. And KHN is just simply gorg. Honestly, all of the cast are. I fell in love with So and Soo when they met at the bath. (although that scene was a lil funny when she got out of the water and So was shocked HAHA) It was a memorable and unforgettable first meeting. Definitely the start of something new. Now I can't wait to see how their lovestory will unfold. Hooray for possessive So Never thought I'd wish for MONDAY to come faster LOL and now that IT IS actually Monday, I'm all \^o^/ HAPPY MONDAY, LOVES! (They're all adorable. But Joonki's smile. Ughhhh. *heart eyes*)

Popular Post briseis
THAT MOMENT WHEN NO ONE UNDERSTANDS HAE SOO BETTER THAN WANG SO!!! He is so attuned to her way of thinking and one of the reasons for it is his upbringing or rather lack there of - he isn’t illiterate, but neither did he spend most of his life being tutored by teachers like the rest of the princes - which makes him the most unconventional and therefore the most modern of his siblings. Which is one of the reasons why Hae Soo feels so comfortable around him - because it’s with him when she is her true 21th century self, it’s with him that she forgets about caution and says everything she thinks. So doesn’t overthink things, rather using his common sense and intelligence; plus he has this huge advantage that he isn’t restained and bound by the traditional way of thinking; which is why he is able to decipher her message. He flouts conventions and that makes him exactly the man HS needs. So is not cold and reserved by nature, in reality he is warm, outgoing, frank and passionate, with a little bit of shynes and wry sense of humour and he is very expressive and open emotionally, though circumstances caused that he is masking it under a mask of nonchanlance and coldness. He is the fire while Wook is the ice - polite, calm, guarded and restrained.

larinalove
@briseis LOVE your post and explanations, I agree completely, it is very telling how he was the only one to decipher her letter, how they are without pretense with each other, actually HS is the only one that has seen him without the mask and at his worst and still she hasn't judged him or shied away from him, that's why I love them together! @meahri_1 Thank you for the kind words, I will try my best to support the drama and post as much as I can!

Popular Post Gabi Bros
I want to talk about @KdramaSwimmer posted. Honestly the first time I saw this BTS, I thought were Hae Soo and Wang So and I was so excited to watch that moment, only to realize that the ones laughing were IU and Joong Gi lol, but are not completely them. It's like you only need to change your expression and the other one knows automatically that you are into character again. The last seconds are Hae Soo and Wang So again. That or are they trolling me shooting a new bath scene where she and he are wearing the same and in same conditions and place of episode 2, that I don't think it's the case because that video covered small bits of BTS/rehearsals from things that has happened on released episodes: 1. the bath one (this one) / 2. If I apologize you will die, 3. You are my person, 4. The one of episode 5 (where he caught Haesoo in the palace). Like in chronological order.

ruzikie
@briseis I AGREED WITH YOUR POST ABOUT THE EMOTICON. I was wondering the same too why he's the only one who could understand what's the meaning of the emoticon he ever seen for the first time. He could interpret it very well. Aside for his intelegency. Happy MoonDay guys. 14 hours left nyawww~ i still demand for a new still between Wang So and Hae Soo.

violet90
i find it rather funny how WS told HSto never show up in front of him later on keep wanting to meet and happy to meet her even by coincidence.. lol he became such a dork and cute guy when he with HS contra when he first arrive in Goryeo.. its a fun experience to watch also HS is actually immune to WS try to flustered her that hilarious as well.. LJG and IU surprisingly have a great chemistry even with a small bit of encounter.. imagine we have at least 15 eps more of their interaction and love scene... kyaaaa

minmar
The emoji/emoticon understanding of Wang So. Well it could be because he and Hae Soo are attuned to each other but I don't really think that is involved too much yet. I think it is because he thinks like an animal. He doesn't try to understand things from the perspective of writing,.. he sees things as how they are... basic... unvarnished...visual impression only. He learned to be that way from his life experiences where he had to be cunning and quick to size up a situation just to survive. It's the same reason he is faster to come to Hae Soo's aid when she is in trouble. The polish of civilization does not obscure his view. Anyway.. just my perspective.
