I've been busy doing my final dissertation and after a while not lurking in this thread, actually, I'm quite saddened by the fact that our thread is losing from the other sageuk drama that airs at the same time slot with our beloved drama. Not that I count that important but the last time I was active in this thread, our thread still won in terms of the pages actually I have already sensed that this thread have moved quite slowly lately for unknown reason. You are so right!  I will watch it over and over again after it will end. My heart screams for a sequel too!

I noticed that too. Jun Ki does need a handler to hold the leash. He can handle the horse alright. Is it the same horse from the first episode where he swapped HS to his horse?? Same white stripe on the nose. 

add me to he list too..i am watching kdramas for last 6 years and its the first time I am this active on soompi thread (without even daring to skip a day being here) and then downloading all epis (all ver be it international or SBS raw and subbed both), all bts, all mvs, even created my own MV and thinking of another one.... and I havent done anythng like this for any other kdrama ever in my life so far....

So its of its own kind of addiction of SHR that I havnt felt in past and can promise that I can never feel in future.

@enigmatic_zephyhow will I get over with it..? sorry I dont have any plan to get over with it or I'll say I CANT even think about it, cause everytime I think this show is just for another 4 episode i get mini heart attack...... and I cant just just just Cant think and dont want to think how can i be able to survive the last episode feeling this is THE LAST one...

The Truth Is in the Eye Heart of the Beholder

Truth is a point of view and there are as many “truths” as there are people, because “truth” is what people want or expect to see/hear or rather, what they don’t want to see/hear. In reality, JUNG AND HAE SOO DID NOT HEAR WHAT EUN SAID TO WANG SO. 5-7 meters are simply TOO FAR TO HEAR THE WHISPER OF A DYING MAN who’s using every bit of his last strength to pronounce the words despite all the physical and emotional pain. The viewers’ perception of that scene is distorted because they are able to hear Eun’s silent voice in the same volume as So WHO IS MERE CENTIMETRES AWAY FROM HIM. Jung and Soo don’t have this. The truth isn’t what they heard (because they heard nothing) BUT WHAT THEY KNOW IN THEIR HEARTS. Jung who feels only hate for his older brother immediately assumes the worst of him, without even giving him the benefit of doubt; however, HAE SOO KNOWS THE WHOLE TRUTH, SHE KNOWS WHY SO DID IT WITHOUT NEEDING TO HEAR EUN’S LAST WISH AND THIS IS THE ULTIMATE PROOF OF HER TRUST AND LOVE. She knows him, THE REAL HIM, she knows his reasons and motivations, SHE KNOWS HE WOULD NEVER KILL HIS OWN BROTHER FOR SELFISH REASONS AND SHE KNOWS THAT IN KILLING EUN HE HURT HIMSELF THE MOST. 

Now, she is begging for him, begging Jung not to bring him even more pain - not because she would be afraid Jung could kill So (because So is so superior to everyone in combat adn there is no way Jung could last long in a fight against him), but because there are no guarantees in a fight and Jung in his blind hate and stupidity could actually make So unwittingly kill him in self-defence which would probably drive Wang So completely mad.

“No, you can’t.” 

When she utters this plea just before So swings his sword, HS is only caring about him, about how it will break him since she knows how terribly he suffered when he thought he killed Yo - SHE KNOWS BECAUSE HE FELL APART IN HER ARMS, SOBBING AND CLINGING TO HER AS IF ONLY SHE COULD GIVE HIM ABSOLUTION.

With this, HS’s visions of death come full circle, proving that while they were all true she misinterpreted them completely, committing a grave sin and injustice towards the best of men, a man who protected her and everyone else from the the very beginning. The truth was always there, but even if it’s the truth if the person seeing it closes her ears and her heart how would the truth be delivered?

For those chingudeul who want a good laugh  I rewatched one of the documentary videos of SHR and there was one part about Taejos many marriages to secure the new founded nation. And then many ladys with the same face pop up on the map of Goryeo to showcase that.

 

If you watch closely they share the face of...

 

Taejo married like 29 times, but each wedding night he probably only thought of one particular lady

Woah..I admire your dedication in making this compilation, @Adnana.   I could imagine the hardwork you've put to compiled all missing and deleted scenes in such detail manner, and we are all very grateful for this. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

If you don't mind, I'll add some scenes that probably didn't see the light of day (please don't hesitate to correct me if i'm wrong..):

1. In one of Jin ki joo's interview, she mentioned there are many scenes of chaeryung and haesoo that didn't make the cut. It supposed to lay out the bond between them. (although tbh, I'm not that interested to their story.. IF there is a need to explore her character better, they should highlight her relationship with 9th prince or 8th prince, instead...)

2. In the preview of episode 7, I don't know whether it was a misleading impression or the scene got butchered in the editing room, but when general park questioned wang so's decision for staying in palace, evil queen supposedly eavesdropped their conversation. (sorry.. I couldn't find the right screencap as i'm typing from my ipad right now)

3. I think there are some of go ha jin's back story scenes that also get edited out in the process. Like her confrontation with her bff and ex bf. But yeah.. I think it was a reasonable move from the editor with the limited number of episode they had, because the flashback already gave us enough clue what kind of life she had in 21st century.

I do not think so as what I have been observing about this drama. At least they have to show how miserable Hae Soo's life in the palace as Gwang Jong's concubine to follow the chinese version path. They have been following the path until episode 16 although not being precisely following all the storylines as they have to adjust with korean history. So, it is not possible to end the goryeo things in just 1 episode. They still have wook-haesoo story to wrap up that makes Gwang Jong misunderstands Hae Soo

Since we know what WangEun looked like as a kid in episode 15,I rewatched episode 1 for the first scene where the kid was drowning.It was quite fast so the pic I posted on twitter was a bit blur.Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the two look the same?

I don't know if someone has posted this video already, if it so I'm sorry to post it again. The editing of the scenes combined with the instrumental music is really beautiful but at the same time sad, which is right with the tone of the story now.

1. Marathon it again. SBS ver + Intl ver. *Bawling over n over n wonder why our OTP suffered so much*

2. Lurk around soompi thread; save all fan arts, drama gifs etc n put them as screen savers. 

3. When family n friends finally snap at me to get my social life back.

4. When I know enough is enough, go back to marathon all LJG dramas to get over my WS fix while in the meantime, waiting for the next LJG drama.

For Go Ha Jin,her attempt to save Eun Yool from drowning marks a turning point in her life and the beginning of her journey to the past.

For WangSo,his attempt to save Wang Eun from Yo marks a turning point in his life and the beginning of his endeavour to become a king.

Yes,the father of Eun Yool whom GoHaJin tried to save doesn't look like WangSo.But could the boy,like the water/river/bathing area,somehow be a link to the past?
