So will slowly change himself next eps after he maybe ended Eun life... i think Eun already going to die but So just ended quickly because you can see Yo want to shoot somebody with his arrow so my take is So try not to make Eun suffer anymore and both Soo and Jung will be watching... i personally don't think Jung will hate So but he for sure will step up cause seeing that scene will force him to grow up... but the downside is Jung will totally replace WW place as So rival in term of Soo.....

okay back to So not only because he have to kill Eun but the fact that he can't do anything while Yo abusing Soo... if Yo reign last 2 years imagine how much Soo suffer serving and being abused by Yo each day?? So will likely planning a revolt during that time and my take is So is the one who will drift apart from Soo in order to protect her and focusing to take the throne... 

both of So and Soo will change during Yo reign and its not going to be better.. its going to be worse.... Soo is changing after Lady Oh dies and now have to bear all the death that happen in front of her lastly Yo abusive... she will be broken and So will be broken too.. with the killing of his brother and all the dirty work that Yo order him to do while using Soo...

ever watch OTP that suffer this much??? nope i don't think so.... they already suffering since they meet with all the thing that happen to them and they will continue to suffer in the last 5 episode...... gosh!

the genres not a historical , romance and fantasy...... it should have been a freaking MELODRAMA!!

@qwenli I also agree with you and the others who have speculated that So is the one who will let Soo go in this version.

I've noticed that So really doesn't like/can't bear for Soo to blame herself for things going wrong. Just look at the beginning of Episode 15 where she blames herself for the things that happened and apologizes. So's gaze up at her was so piercing, like he was determined to not put her in any situation where she would blame herself. That's why he pulled her out with the intention of leaving (the palace?) until they were stopped by Weasel Won.

So knows how easily Soo blames herself for things. He saw how she blamed herself for Lady Oh's death, and for his having to leave the palace because he stood with her in the rain, and now for Mu's death (she was essentially the conduit used to cause Mu's demise) and for So having to bow down to Yo because he chose her over the dead Mu.

This is why I'd believe So is actually the one who would want her out of the palace after he realizes what it's doing or has done to her. Either that or he doesn't quibble much when she wants to get out because he sees how much pain she's in and wants to help her. We all know how self-sacrificing So is when it comes to his loved ones.

Jung's role in this scenario makes me uneasy. I really do think if it happens the way you think (that So is the one who gives Jung permission to take Soo out), it would be a lot easier on us. Especially since no King has yet decreed a marriage between Jung and So. That being said, I don't really care for Jung and his misplaced ire against So so I don't see how and why Jung will be So's person of choice to take Soo out without Soo expressly requesting him, you know?

@moonlover399993 I really hope it's Soo's hand. If it's a part of clothing, looks kinda weird shaped like that and different from the rest of the clothes. My take is that it's her hand clenching. 

@freckledbelle I watched the video when IU first met her bf, Jang Ki Ha. It was love at first sight...or sense? (because she said it felt really calm in the studio) which is super cute since now we know why she felt really calm. I hope they last long tho despite the us fans shipping her with LJK.  

 

@itzibitzispider Well.. as the Chinese will tell you, history depends on your point of view, and the winning party always get the chance to tell their stories (from cave man to man cave).. and it tends to repeat itself everywhere in the world. We never learn, do we?

Omo the boat ride, haha, so I was right, they filmed the dialogue parts on shore first. And then the other tug boat helped to pull the boat out. Poor joongi having to row row row, while IU just enjoying a free boat ride #envious

by the way, Lee Joon Gi will be having Fan meetings in Japan on Dec 21 (Nagoya), Dec 22 (Osaka) and Dec 24 (Yokohama)  His fan meetings are well worth attending because he can sing and dance. Its almost like watching a concert. lol

Ah. The boat scene BTS. For me this boat scene actually serves as a preparation for the coming sad and painful scenes. But I think this is one of the if not the most memorable scene between them.

@hiluna posted the following regarding that beautiful poem:

I watch the International subbed version first then the SBS subbed version next day and I found that the two give off a different feeling. The international version didn't move me as much as the SBS one. The boat scene was actually quite sad because he was going to confess to her and she got all prettied up probably expecting a proposal, then the marriage with the little princess happened and he could no longer express his love for her. Somehow the editing in the International version did not give a good flow to their love story because it jumped to other inconsequential scenes, a bit choppy, whereas there seems to be more cohesiveness between the birthday scenes and the boat scenes making it appear that we have a longer love scene with our OTP in the SBS version. Also the subs were different for the poem in both versions giving off a different vibe. Int'l - "I came to sit by the water, however the clouds have come", this seems to be a negative feel and I took it that his explanation to her was that they cannot stay together as turbulent times are coming to part them. SBS - "When the water has run dry, sit and watch for the rising clouds", this feels like he is asking her to wait for him and the river (like their love) will be full again. I looked up the poem and a translation was given "Walking until the water's edge, I sit and watch as clouds rise up and appear" this was given an interpretaion that "one should follow one's conditions and yield to one's destiny". I guess that the SBS version is a more romantic interpretation and gives Soo a better reason to keep copying the text over and over again. Bottom line is that it is better to watch both versions.  I cry more in the SBS version even though I watch it after the Int'l one.
