That reminds me, I didn't find Nam Joo Hyuk particularly handsome before, but Nam Joo Hyuk as Baek Ah is really, reaaaaally attractive to me. Plus, that velvet-y voice, mhhhhmmm...like other casts said, he has the most prince-ly aura among them, and I think I can agree...reluctantly though, hahahaa...Wang So is still the best prince for me!

Exactly! That's not in character for our WS. So far the writer have gone out of her/his way to show that WS isn't evil by choice.   He's not after revenge. And I think WS knows more about what HS felt about the 8th prince than we think. Remember, he didn't want to hurt him partly because he knows how HS feel about him.

They truly bare it all in front of each other, even the worst parts of them.HS has numbed herself in the year they haven’t seen each other, but now that So’s back, she can no longer keep up the pretense and completely drops her mask and shows it all to him, everything she been bottling up inside, And he does see EVERYTHING even the things she tries so hard to hide from him - HE SEES THE TRUTH BEHIND THE HALF-LIES, just like he knew previously that she didn’t really fear him. The truth is that SHE HAS BEEN PUNISHING HERSELF WITH THIS SELF-IMPOSED MARTYRDOM. 

“I will watch over you just like when you helped me. I will help you forget it all even without living this hard life.” 

It’s a complete reversal of their roles - it’s HS’s heart which is scarred now and So wants to make her live like a human once more; it’s her now who believes that she brings unfortune to others; IT’S HER WHO HATES HERSELF NOW. And it makes complete sense that So would be the one who would save her because she saved him, because she didn’t ask for his permission that time either, BECAUSE HE IS THE PERSON WHO LOVES HER THE MOST.

After everything that happened, after the poisoning and exile, So comes back and he hasn’t changed a bit, nor did his loyalty, his devotion and his love for her; it’s only become stronger. And it’s killing her because SHE THINKS SHE IS UNWORTHY OF HIM and that’s why she is pushing him away, hurting him - TO PROTECT HIM FROM HERSELF. But also to protect herself from him. From the moment Lady Oh died and he almost died trying to protect her, HAE SOO’S BEEN AFRAID OF LIVING because it was living that hurt her and everyone she cared about. Once upon a time, she told So that it wasn’t a crime to want to live BUT TO HER IT’S CRIME NOW, HER CRIME. AND NOW SHE IS PUSHING AWAY AND REJECTING THE SOLE REASON THAT MAKES HER WANT TO LIVE AGAIN - HIM.

And during the whole time he doesn’t interrupt and lets her get it all out; she is hurting him, each word feels like dagger piercing So’s heart, but once more he completely disregardss his own pain, feelings and ego and thinks only about her. Once more, he thinks only about her - how to help her, how to fix her, how to save her and get her out of the hell she’s been living in the past year. Even when Hae Soo loathes herself TO WANG SO SHE IS THE BRAVEST PERSON IN THE WHOLE WORLD - THE WOMAN WHO WASN’t AFRAID TO TOUCH THE WOLF DOG COVERED IN BLOOD, THE WOMAN WHO TOUCHED HIS SCAR AND HIS HEART.

Agree... but, just thinkin again because this drama is almost always on my mind...  Taejo investigated the miscarriage-inducing-tea incident and determined the culprit was QH which is why she was kicked out.  Assuming Taejo is competent--especially with JiMong at his side--then, it appears QH is the culprit despite what YH says or what QH claims.  Also, Lady Oh's child would have been more of a threat to QH's children than to QY's.  Just like QY went nuts when Taejo wanted to take a second wife, .maybe QH went nuts when the love of Taejo's life was found to be pregnant, especially if she felt unloved by him.  That green-eyed monster Jealousy....

Ah, well, I guess we'll never know.  Its fun speculating, though....
