General tells So to be king you have to throw someone/something? away. And says he will help after he sees So throw something/someone away?

i think 13th and 14th we're close before when HS was still a noble in Wook's house, but since then BA became close to WS, and WJ to 8th, plus 13th's not liking the 4th, they became like this..

In both scenes, they are trying to protect each other from further harm. And I feel Wang So in the second scene. I completely understand why he had to do what he did. It was for protection, it was for military gains, and it was for him to figure out the newly introduced doubt into their relationship. 

Even when Hae Su tells him that he’s lying when he says he no longer has the same feelings for her; he KNOWS it’s a lie, but his retort is SO CUTTING: “We said we’d no longer lie to each other.”

Which of course, Hae Su started the lie first about Eun and this is his way of saying, you broke our promise. OOOF the feels.

they all really improved i guess, just trying their best before the drama gods LJK and KHN hahahaha....even BKhyun was great in this episode.. they are all close during the production and i think sunbaes share how to do things right and convincing..

Kinda made me sad when Wook said to Soo, "You said it was my greed when I wanted you and the throne, and now you're the king's woman". Their circumstances were different, but damn...what an irony. Of course So was not treacherous in the way he sought for the throne unlike Wook, but his reasons and Wook's were fundamentally the same: to protect the people they love. 

No, there is a huge difference. Wang Wook has always wanted to become the king, but he hid it very well. When Hae Soo appeared, he fell in love with her, nevertheless he was hesitating to choose between the throne and her. That's why he made so many promises and asked her to wait... until Wang So really appeared as a rival. From that moment, he proposed to her and decided to give up the throne in order to have her. But it was in my opinion only a temporary decision. I am sure, at some point, he would have tried to come back. However, the poisoning incident (episode 11) happened and due to YH's words, he realised that if he decided to stay by Hae Soo's side, he would definitely lose the chance to become king therefore he abandoned her. Wang Wook tried to justify himself in front of Hae Soo that he was powerless... and if he were a king, he would protect her. But truth is that he used Hae Soo for his own benefit and not only once but twice.

- He wanted to kill Wang So (episode 13)

- the poisoning of Mu

I had mentioned it before, it was Wang Wook's selfishness that pushed Hae Soo away. Wang So's proposal to Hae Soo illustrates it. Wang So decided to become the king for other reasons: not out of hunger for power, but out of love. He wanted to end the bloodsheet between the brothers. He wanted to make sure that not just Hae Soo was protected but all the others, including himself. Wang Wook has never been used as tool or even dog... while Wang So had to do the dirty work that Wang Wook and Yo had put on him!!! Out of self-preservation, whereas Wang Wook had never been in real danger the entire time: he plotted against Mu and Yo, then again against Mu. He could have just supported the king! But no, it was not enough... he was aiming at the throne. Wang So never did such a thing. Wook is indirectly the reason why Wang So wanted to become the king. Wang Wook has never been threatened by Mu, yet he had him poisoned through CR and Won!

I used to be 86lbs/39kg 5'1"/155cm before my son was born and my sister is 5'8"/172cm and 99lbs and while we both were thin, IU looks even skinnier than we did.  Media reports she's about 5'4"/162cm and 99lbs/44-45kg but she doesn't have a lot of muscle or fat so I think she's probably more like 90lbs/40kg .  She had mentioned she did an extreme diet on a variety show (happy together?) that for 4 days she did 1 hour cardio a day and ate nothing but 2 sweet potatoes, an apple, and a protein shake a day to lose  3-4kg/8lbs.

We Asians really do place an importance on being thin but even my friends and I agree that she is too thin in this drama. While her dresses look very pretty on her, I think if she were to wear fitted clothes, it would not look as good.  I hope she gained weight after the drama!

just saw the SBS version, I can't believe they intended to delete Wang Yo's having a heart attack scene! are you kidding me! the directing of that scene was great, it was scary, good thing they added it, I've already said that before but man I'm gonna miss Wang Yo...can't they keep him & take Jung, Wook & Won instead? lol the ending of each character in Moon Lovers is always unforgettable & painful, I felt bad for Wang Yo, part of me wanted him to die in battle or killed but I guess this ending is what he deserve & I hope his mom get an ending like this or worse

I am sure my description of LJK’s acting skills can do him no justice.  Like, I can’t even describe it close enough.  The moment right before slaying Eun, I found myself holding my breath.  I had chills running through my body.  My tears were dripping.  I was scared.  And then after he slayed Eun & falls on his knees, down I went with him.  Then I lost it when he started laughing crazily.  I mean to have that kind of effect on someone is truly remarkable.  And OMG, Eun’s best moment in terms of acting skills had to be at his death.  When he shines is when the dies.  WTH?!  That was so cruel.

My favorite part of this drama is still during WS's love confession and HS accepted his love with a kiss.  I like open communication in every aspect of relationship.  When a couple is open, there is no storm in life that they couldn't overcome together.  It was proven during their 2 years of separation.  Perhaps the saying that "absence makes the heart grow fonder" is true, especially to HS because WS is pretty certain about what he feels compared to HS. But I like it that they both express what's in their mind and heart regardless of how the other perceive it or accept it. The decision still lies on them in every given situation.  I love it that HS, pursued what her heart truly desires and claimed what is hers.  Being possessive is not always a negative thing .... you're mine and I am yours ... what's wrong with that.   I believe most husbands love that in their wives.

My next favorite is HS finding WS naked and wounded where she saw his body scars.  I can't speak for all men but I knew there are men who hates being vulnerable in the eyes of their woman.  But I personally like WS being vulnerable before HS.  When you love someone who's been deeply wounded emotionally, you tend to be more cautious on how to treat them.  It seems that hurting them hurts you even more ... and if they are in pain and you could bear it for their sake, you would gladly do so.  HS tracing the scars on his back breaks my heart as I can totally relate those feelings.  Perhaps that's how she finally confirms how deeply in love she was with him.  Love is not an emotion but and act of will to do something for someone we care about. I enjoy watching them finding peace and solace from each other.  At least when things gets tough, they have each other to provide rest.  WS is like that with her already .... the back hug before the forced kiss? .... I think he said, "wait, stay with me, I need to rest".  I just love the thought that my man finds solace with me ... that I have the capability or power to calm him down.... as if I'm putting that Big baby to bed..LOL

Well, I am enjoying the fact that out OTP are freely enjoying and expressing their love to one another now... or at least more in the next episodes.  If they're not going to be together for long (unsure if its happy ending or not) at least there will be no regrets. They should love each other as if there is no tomorrow.  HS is showing some indication of possible heart problem.  I think the writer have something on that later.  Possible parting will be hard but good memories live on and it can sustain them somehow.

The constellation appears during early evenings in the fall in Korea. And Gwangjong becomes king in August (lunar calendar - so September to October for us) of year 949. Although most people think it was chosen because the way the mouth moves when saying the name of it was convenient for inviting a kiss. (If only Ji Mong hadn't shown up...)

Feel like Ji Mong is always interrupting So-Soo moments.  When HS is teaching WS how to pronounce Pegasus. When WS is helping HS run away from her wedding. When WS is saving her from execution. -sigh- I just want my OTP to be far away from the palace to live happily ever after or at least for one episode. Althought it was Ji Mong's suggestion (that WS soak in the outdoor bath before leaving Damiwon) that led to HS seeing WS in the bath and the horse meet cute was because HS was searching for JM, so I'll forgive him.
