When the hate train gets rolling, it’s hard to stop it. Korean netizens, and I specifically mean Korean netizens, and let’s keep in mind this doesn’t represent all of Korea, are pouring on the hate for Kim Jaejoong of JYJ. Kim Jaejoong, who is currently serving his mandatory military duties, has earned the ire of […]

I feel bad for Jaejoong.

Those bored Korean netizens are criticizing him for almost anything and everything he does nowadays.

On the side note, I'm curious. Two of them are serving the military but why is Jaejoong the only one wearing the military uniform?

This is just so silly !! Those are just the haters I guess and they are persistant !! First of all the lyrics mistake was not intentional and everyone can fall in it .. And sec the flag thing .. If any other solder did this they won't even know or tell but because this is jaejoong they made a big deal !! Shame on them because all their trials in making him look bad faild and I swear that he will recieve somethig that will confirm he was a perfect example of a solder and a singer at those 2 years and this will be IN THEIR FACE ..

Poor jaejoongT.T

When he should felt happy cz his award, he has to face another problems. I noticed there is something wrong through his face during award event. He looks worried for some reason in his mind. Just for some mistakes he made many bad comment blaming at him. Nobody perfect, rights? Perfection is for God. Everyone, whoever he is, can make mistakes sometimes.

I hope JYJ can get tv broadcast show in future^^

We have a high rate of suicide because of the elderly...not because of some photoshopped photos of Jaejoong.

Messing up the National Anthem is a no-no.
The upside down patch was photoshopped. There were several other photos of him at the event and the patch was correct. Griping about what kind of watch he's wearing to a ceremony is ridiculous. Those sad little people need something meaningful in their life that doesn't involve a keyboard.

elderly?? o_o why? I was in Korea twice and all elderly people I saw looked pretty OK. though I was just a tourist..
p.s. I wanted to say that sometimes korean ppl are super critics at every given opportunity not only in JJ's case.

The flag aren't photoshopped. It's true. But He's already fixed it before enter the hall. An active soldier said that, its common to see (in army) when someone get wrong to patch the flag. I don't get it why nitizens do such thing, JYJ won a prestigious award but they make this kind of fuss rather than their award. They are just jealous fans and wanna bring JYJ down.

Yoochun wasn't permitted to join active service, since he has asthma. Therefore he's in public service instead.

When online comments have bad reputation, Korean netizens took this culture - or lack thereof - to a whole different level. They're probably the most hateful group of people there is, not that it's something to be proud of.
It's well known this specific hateful group frequently attacks JYJ but fortunately it doesn't represent the opinion of the whole public.
Let's be honest, mistakes don't make anyone happy but saying that it is disrespectful to sing "hurrah for our country" sounds plain stupid. Such comments clearly give more malicious impression than the actual mistake itself. The flag, yes, for a while he wore the patch upside down on his sleeve. Other soldiers said this kind of mistake happens quite frequently, so again it doesn't look like he did it for fun. Things happen. The patch got fixed - and if you ask me, it could have been fixed sooner, if instead of taking a billion of photos to stir up a scandal, one person told JJ he's wearing the patch upside down. Maybe it's time to sew these patches on army uniforms permanently to prevent further incidents of this sort.
As to the watch, considering JJ's social status and the nature of the event he attended, the watch was the only festively looking thing he could wear. Should he be ashamed for that he's a famous person who has been earning his own money for the last 15 years? Dear netizens, don't be ridiculous. Apparently he doesn't wear this expensive watch during his military training.
Last but not least, as to "Kim Jaejoong is currently a private in the military band." it is only partly right. He serves as Private First Class in 55th Infantry Division and although he is a member of a military band, musical activities are not his only duty in the army. The military band members work like all other soldiers, the band is an extra activity. (Before someone takes it as "dude is a slacker, he has a comfortable time in the band")
I suggest the angry netizens to look up how JJ has been participating in all sorts of events to promote the army. It's all around the internet where these people spend there life which I personally find sad.

we have a saying that would translate as: "If you spot a mistake, go and help fix it!" [instead of whining] Which one is more useless, the one who tries or the one who nags?

From what I understand they have too much school time and homework. Perhaps if their load was lightened they'd be in a better mind-space so as to not to be so contentious. They would have more time to do things that are actually enjoyable and healthy.

I did some poking around researching suicide rates (I was on hold with the IRS here in the US so that gave me a free 45 minutes to devote to something!!) and while the elderly tip the scales for overall suicide rate, it is the #1 cause of death for young people. Heartbreaking.

I swear someone have this plot to bring jj and jyj down.

Be careful jaejoong you are too relevant so they can't leave you alone... even more relevant the legendary singer Kim bom soo who did a mistake singing national anthem but the news didn't blowing up and the south Korean president who did a mistake holding flag down but no one care...lol and now this watch thing seriously journalist at least use better picture with him using his expensive watch instead a cut pic , lol this is remind me the last time they put his article in news papers just because he wear sandals outside his apartment when the fact is this journalist just feel amazed seeing jaejoong expensive car lolol that relevance jaejoong ,and soompi take a look the comment again the only thing they critize him is with the flag situation ,seriously the problems is here come from a hidden agendas from someone who hate jyj and waiting the day they enlist so they can attach him bcs the company cannot protect them there. Be careful guys and don't worry we will protect you.
