Netizens couldn't find Baekdu Mountain on a map if their life depended on it

Well...I'm so confused. Does Changbai = Baekdu = Paektu (not mentioned but I'm assuming a different way of romanization)?  And Google spazzes out with Jankbaek. Is Changbai a mountain range or just a mountain or both?

Well, whatever, there is a mountain on the border that's 9000 feet high, a freaking beautiful caldera with a drop-dead gorgeous lake and mind-blowing scenery. Is that the mountain everyone is up in arms about? Damn! My bucket list just grew another notch and I seriously hate to fly. Are there any fast boats across the Pacific? The virtual tour I took got my geekness glowing. I love volcanoes. Are there horseback rides up that mountain?

As for whatever the controversy is behind an actress just trying to earn a freaking living, I think on the grand scheme of all things politics and history and whatever else peeps want to get all passionate about, give the gal a break. It was probably her agent, or whatever the equivalent is over there, that thought it was a good idea and she just signed the contract. I've yet to see her work, but one of the shows is highly rated and highly recommended by my fellow Korean drama addicts over here in my little ole neck of the world. And since the $$ we pay to get our KD fix flows to Korea, I beg y'all to lighten up. 

(Oh, and BTW, it's OK for an actress to NOT have an interest in history to play a role. That's the job of the writers to get the script right and the director to get the right vibe from his/her cast.)
