Joseph Choe struck again, calling out Donald Trump for criticizing the United State’s military support in South Korea. On October 12, Joseph Choe, 20, a Harvard student, questioned Donald Trump at the No Labels Problem Solver Convention in New Hampshire. “Basically, you said that South Korea takes advantage of the United States in terms of […]

If Trump becomes President (which he WILL NEVER be), he is going to start World War III. It's a true fact. Thank you Joseph for standing up! Trump needs to get his facts straight. The last time I checked, he is irrelevant for many things. First, filing bankruptcy for several years and then questioning Obama for his U.S. citizenship. Trump, you need to get your facts straight!

That's legitimately f'ed up for Trump to challenge what is considered American. If Trump becomes president, the United States will become a joke.

I am seriously horrified that Trump has as much support as he does....
And his question is seriously offensive. Asian Americans are constantly getting asked the "where you from" question and it's completely true that we're always seen as foreign regardless of whether we're born in the US. Good job to Joseph Choe for standing up to Trump!

Just look at all of those hillbilly Trump sheep staring daggers at the guy. Trump, like most of his ilk, is only comfortable when preaching to the choir. Any opinion that questions their agenda is met with riducule and obfuscation in order to hide from the truth. I am an American, born in Massachusetts, raised mostly in California. Do I get more points off for being a "Yankee" or a west coast liberal?

Joseph is brave and honest, and he uses facts rather than paranoid rhetoric to elaborate his points. Fight on, Joseph!

To be honest, the US is already a joke right now with Obama as our commander-in-chief. Russia, Iran, and North Korea are laughing at the weakness of our country while they outright start a proxy war with us (Russia) and declare death to America and continuing to build nuclear weapons with the money we have given them (Iran).

I don't think Trump could make it worse as our country is already going down the drain without his help. And I am stating this as a Asian American born here in the US. I am not a fan of Trump, but I think Obama is worse.

This made me laugh. And then I was terrified.

The US is a joke right now, no doubt about it. Obama has made many many MANY bad calls during his presidency, but don't be so quick to dismiss him. Remember that he entered right smack dab in the middle of the sh*tstorm aftermath of the bush administration, and that he's been constantly dealing with the residual jackas*sery from that embarrassment of a presidency. Remember that any Democratic president is constantly fighting a Republican-controlled congress. Remember that the president's powers are limited in ways beyond our ken. I'm not saying he's done a good job as president, mind you--I think he turned out to be way more incompetent than I could have ever imagined--but I believe he has a moral staunchness and a mental stability Trump could never dream of--would never dream of. Obama is not without his faults but at least he isn't as...unhinged...as Trump.

Every one of Trump's sociopathic, misogynistic, bigoted, white supremacist bullcr*p diatribes are indicative of the kind of mentality he will be approaching every pertinent issue with if he's elected. He will give like-minded racist, sexist fanatics a platform to run wild. He's popular because he feeds into the ethnocentric, self-entitled, sick delusions of a lot of the people in this country. You're not a fan of Trump. That's great. But if you think Trump couldn't make things worse than they already are and eventually will be, you are sorely, sorely mistaken. I, too, am a US-born Asian American. Let's not get complacent.

Hillbilly Trump sheep.
So apt a name I astral-projected into the cosmos and cackled into the abyss.
Bless you.

Meh...let them laugh. Especially North Korea ... they could probably use some laughter. Heck, let's hog-tie Dennis Rodman in bright red, white and blue bows --- throw some pink in there --- and send him back for more amusement. He's massively entertaining.

As for Iran? US gave Iran money? Surely you're not saying it's taxpayer's money cuz it isn't. It's THEIR money that's been frozen by the US. novadestin mentioned Politifact: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2015/sep/16/mike-huckabee/huckabee-us-giving-iran-equivalent-5-trillion/  And here's the link to the actual Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action: http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/245317.pdf At least, the part for public consumption and it's only 18 pages (wonder how many pages have been deemed "classified").

As for a proxy war between US and Russia, so what. Not the first, won't be the last. While Syria gets torn to shreds, the worse for wear to those of us in the US has been a $.05 jump in our gasoline prices which has already start to come back down.

Sheesh. Let's get back to celebrating Joseph Choe! A young American promoting an informed electorate that uses FACTS to base their decisions.
