Guest ViktoriaNovakova
SM logic: let's discriminate our Chinese members because of their nationality, when they leave, our people can start a smear campaign against them online based on their Chinese nationality and then we'll appeal on Korean-Chinese relationshipsGood Lord, this company seems physically unable to speak truth. I'm looking forward to seeing them lose more and more lawsuits. As if their position wasn't already ridiculous enough, they force their former artists to write a detailed list of wrongdoings they faced in SM. Guest novadestin
Who read the article title and went "no sh-t Sherlock"? As if both sides in any legal case don't try to manipulate things in their favor..."Taking Tao’s lawsuit and expanding it into an issue of cultural relations between Korea and China" - like their mention of "not excluding discrimination of Chinese artists" isn't the exact same thing. Whether either side likes it or not, cultural relations are a part of this. "Moreover, according to stipulations outlined in the exclusive contract, any legal disagreements between Tao and SM must be dealt with in Korea, and SM’s lawsuit in China is not in accord with those stipulations." - Just because something must be 'dealt with' in Korea doesn't mean they can't file a suit against someone in China. The other article says the lawsuit was "submitted to" Beijing courts, not started in. Don't misunderstand, I'm not in favor of SM or anything, I just don't agree with this statement. (If there are any lawyers out there who can explain better/otherwise, please do so.) “After continued tolerance of the above actions [of SM], Tao couldn’t take it in the end and sued." - Again, I ain't in favor of SM, but don't make it sound like he just snapped one day and had finally had enough. I support Luhan and Wu Yi Fan because they did actually step up right away and say enough is enough before going on with their lives, while Tao tried to just pretend his contract didn't exists and acted like if he ignored it it would go away. I do support Tao on the whole mistreatment thing and all that, but he has to account for some of his own actions in this too.
