Newsie
Former EXO member Tao recently caught everyone’s eyes — both amused and critical — when he took a casual stroll down a Versace runway during the brand’s recent 2016 S/S show in London. Tao arrived late to the show, and at around the 5:06 mark in the video below, you can see Tao leisurely follow another […]The post Tao Arrives Late to Versace Show, Takes Casual Stroll on Runway appeared first on Soompi.View the full article

SC7
He did what he should have done. Get to his seat as fast and smooth as possible. Was the lady in front of him not doing the same? Traffic can be bad. I believe that he was late. He did not look cheeky, he looked like he was trying to get to his seat quickly, to make way for the models. He did well. If he ran, he would have disrupted the sow for others big time, if he had fast walked, he may have tripped, and reagitated(I think this is a word) his injuries.Good job Tao! Proud of him.To all: We all have these days. Sometimes, things just keep getting in your way some days. That's life.ADD ON:If you think he looks rude due to his foot crossed over onto his other one, it's because, as you can see, there was barely enough room for him to sit on the bench. Also, look closely at his expressions, they are very soft. (Need help? Look at his eyebrows) Not aggressive, cocky, or whatnot in the least bit. He's a good man guys. Though maybe because he is young, some may think he is arrogant, etc.
Ginaaaa
Poor guy ... he looks embarrassed after he got seated by the usher. And yeah, he was ushered to his seat so the Versace team didn't seem offended so why should anyone else be so? He did not step onto the runway uninvited. The video posted here isn't working anymore (marked "private") but you can get a small peek of the bright blue being walked to a seat on the official Versace YouTube video. What I really wanna know is who is the hunk model with the tattoos???? *swoon*

You see that lady seating next to him, that's Suzy Menkes a doyenne in the fashion world, she looks miffed by his presence and so should she, he was late and acted as if it was nothing. I'm in London and I can tell you that it doesn't take 1 hour to get to Berwick Street where this show was taking place unless he was staying up in the sticks where no transport can be found. So the traffic excuse is BS. You can give all the excuse you want for Tao, but the facts still remain the same: He was late and his nonchalant behaviour is a prime example why more people here in Europe think that Chinese people lack manners. And the funny thing is all the important important people like Donatella Versace, Kate Moss, FKA Twigs, even Japanese musician and actor Miyavi managed to get there BEFORE the show started and this little twat who's an ex-boyband member which non many people in Europe have heard of, comes in act as if he's entitled. How rude.

How rude.SC7, the woman in front of him was not arriving late. From what I have read, she was a staff member leading him to his seat. Given the runway setup, it was pretty impossible for him to avoid walking down it, so I don't give him flak for that - what I do give him flak for is showing up late to an important function, causing a disruption in the flow of that function, and then clearly lying about why (as tixie has pointed out). As this is not the first time he has been in the news for his "rude" behavior, for his "attitude", you have to accept that something more is going on then him just being the most unlikely person on the planet. Don't get me wrong, I really do want Tao to do well, but he keeps disappointing me with things like this. This is not a time to be shouting "Good job Tao!" He made a mistake, he shouldn't be congratulated for it. When you arrive late, you apologize, you don't make excuses.

How rude.I hate to say this but, do you live with him? Do you have some CCTV watching him? Do you have a drone on his tail? If not do not assume. Some people have personal things. He should not have to explain himself.Jut because he may not be as famous as the lady next to him, that does not mean that he is any worse off being late. Race? Really? You're bringing in race now? So if it was a white guy, it'd be aye ok? Like I said earlier, look at his freakin face and expressions. If you want to go in thinking the worst of him, so be it. I went into that article and video neutral. I will stand my ground. Just because others manage ≠ you can also make it all the time. He was NOT NONCHALANT. He did what he should have done. Sometimes people may think me rude too, but it's just life getting in the way of me, and things. I wish people could just take one step back, look into his eyes, not his genetically stern looking eyebrows, and give him a break. I feel that people should be given credit when they try their best. I certainly don't think your rude, but I will say you're acting like a shield at the moment. Look into his eyes? You might as well yell, "OPPA DIDN'T MEAN IT!!" Guest blixen
@novadestin girl I'm part Chinese myself and yes I cringe every time I see fellow Chinese act with no manners especially abroad. Tao disrupted the show and never apologised for it. He just expected everyone to be ok with the traffic excuse fib. If Chinese media can clearly see the error in his action why can't you? Just because you blindly idolise him doesn't mean everyone else will let him getaway with crappy behaviour.

There you are admitting that you are prejudice against mainland Chinese and yet you practically accused me of being racist in your earlier post. Also, you claim you're not a hardcore fan, yet you're ready to fight tooth and nail to defend Tao. Have you even met the guy? talked to him? Perhaps you should stop projecting your own personal issues on people, you're not Tao and therefore cannot talk on his behalf. Good luck on your life plights. Good luck on your life plights. If that is what you would like to think of me. I am not racist at all. I was just encouraging you to look into the cultural revolution etc., because many don't know about it. I just don't like the government. I have many Chinese friends, in fact my best friends are Chinese, Chinese people are very kind. No, I have not met him,it would be interesting to meet Tao though. No I am not ready to fight for anyone, I have my own life to live through, before I will be capable of helping others. I am not project. I am sharing. This is a forum. I sincerely simply ask people to take a step back from everything when looking at others. We do not know everyone well enough to judge, or make decisions. To some I may seem like I am defending, but in truth, I am not. Think how you want to think. Who am I to make you feel unhappy? (Also, I hope you aren't reading this with an angry me talking. I am very calm.)Also, thank you for your well wishing!
