I believe Soompi did a perfectly fine job of condensing the attorney's press conference and Kim Hyun Joong's letter. Why is it necessary to rehash every single piece of information that has been written about this case? People who are advocates for either side certainly don't depend on one news site for all the info of this fiasco. They hit the high points. He has submitted his DNA, his ex is now backtracking on the test. His ex told him the sex of the baby. He defended himself against false claims that he is avoiding the paternity test and he has no intention of ever getting near psycho-woman, Mommy Dearest again.
It's also incredibly irresponsible to accuse a news site of being influenced by one of the defendants in this ongoing battle. Even KHJ stated in his letter that he is tired of seeing this play out in the media and can only imagine how his fans feel.

Soompi doesn't do that.  IPS is the site that imposes the parameters for tasteful and PG commentary.  Livefyre used to do that but they were taken off when Soompi left Crunchyroll.  You probably saw the results of the parameters being lifted.

i don't really follow the news, this is just based on the recent article about the baby. first i heard that he assaulted his ex, then he got sued. he said its not true, but there's an 'evidence'. then his ex said she's got pregnant and he willing to taking care of it. but later, his ex said she's got miscarriage when he's already on the army. then few statement to statement came across, then boom suddenly the miscarriage ex have a baby and of course his baby.

i just wanna asked this is the same ex? or not? because the timeline is kinda weird and no offend it looks kinda witch hunting. i want follow the news but its kinda confusing, any one to explain? for some reason, i feel kinda bad for him. not his fans, but still he look so vulnerable

OK - it's very confusing I'm sure.  LAST year, this woman (Ms Choi) went to the police to file charges against KHJ - for beating her on 4 different occasions.  She sent pictures & texts to a tabloid (Dispatch) but not to the police.  She then told KHJ that she'd drop the charges if he apologized, which he did.  Meanwhile he'd made a statement to the police saying he'd only gotten in one mutual fight w/her, and that he accidentally hurt her in another incident.  The police sent THAT off to the prosecutors since he admitted it.  He was fined in Jan for that rib incident - the prosecutor said it did not matter if he meant to hurt her or not.
THEN it comes out that KHJ & Choi got together in Dec & she's pregnant (Feb 2015).  She refused to go w/him or his mother to confirm this, there was iffy stuff over the ultra-sound, she released more private text messages to Dispatch that didn't prove anything.  Daddy Kim got a good lawyer for his son and Choi shut up for a while, but then sued.  KHJ's lawyer sued back.  He also did fact checking.  Turns out that Choi told KHJ last year that she was pregnant in the spring but the fight (where those unverified bruises came from) also caused a miscarriage.  KHJ had PAID Choi half a million $$ in return for her dropping charges.  Then she'd of course gone on record to say she did not get a settlement (nice) which violated the non-disclosure agreement (she wasn't supposed to say ANYTHING).  Lawyer Lee got medical records from all the clinics she said she went to - turns out she was NOT pregnant 10 days before the fight & a couple weeks after - no mention of miscarriage.  Also that she'd waited to go to the doctor for the rib injury for almost 3 weeks after she said it happened, plus had gone to 2 different clinics trying to get a 6-week injury certificate - at the first one she said she got the injury at a gym.
Choi was upset & released MORE very private text messages that didn't prove anything.  
KHJ had gone into the SK Army for his MS meanwhile.
Now she's saying she had this baby, didn't tell KHJ or his family for over a week, tried saying that he refused a paternity test (prompting that press conference & letter from him) and is herself refusing to complete a DNA test.
Guess that about sums this mess up....
