[SOLVED] to delete a video

i tried to delete a video which accidentally got posted 2x on one page & still didn't work even if i tried to follow the instruction to go to editor & hit backspace! pls help

Seems a new post a few hours later does create a second post, good to know for another question that popped up
Anyhow, I was still able to remove the second video. Just hit edit, click below the vid so you have a cursor there, and just hit backspace. That should do it

And the second test. Will edit the first to see if that works

Since Soompi currently uses a method where posts are merged if you post in the same thread twice, I can't really test this. Nice option in some cases, not so nice in other cases

However, posting the same vid and removing it after editing the post worked for me. Just hit backspace after you click below the vid. Might come back later to see if I can remove that vid again.

@Kasmic hi, it's a bit late and my head is a bit fuzzy. What do you mean with IG? Can you link the post/thread you posted it in?

Thanks @CamelKnight I was able to fix it.. it takes a while to do it. Instagram photos and vids. to be exact. I had to post it first then go back and edit it.. strange right? maybe as there were 4 clips in my post that it lagged and took its time.. but the strange and frustrating  thing was that I couldnt delete the IG clips before posting it and it would take me too my previous posts on my tab link... I hope that makes sense..

It seems like a memory problem indeed. Just too much in one post so the site or your computer is having trouble with it. I'll admit that there are some weird things going on in these forums though  Still, it works perfectly for the biggest part and not as much lag as before so I guess that's a plus

Need help! I posted two youtube videos successfully. When posting a comment, I found these 2 youtube videos in the reply box below and Ican't seem to delete these to be able to post new replies or comments. I tried highlighting the two videos and then right click to cut or delete but it doesn't work. Lately, this has been happening to all my successful posts. These are still in my reply box.

@Grace1003 If you hover your mouse over the video, you see a square with a cross inside at the top left corner. Click that. The video is now selected. Hit the delete button on your keyboard and it should be gone.
