Dear Yoon Choon Ho,
I am very sure you are not the designer of "the ruffles" itself. Thus, that makes you the original plagiarizer.
Thank you.

As @crownheiress suggested, this guy has no claim to the material and no case regarding his complaint. This final kicker is the fact that very few of these runway designs from fashion shows end up on the street anyway. Aren't these shows mainly for those who like seeing their stuff making it's maiden and final public voyage on the runway to oblivian?

"He wrote once more, “I also found out that the actress and her stylist actually picked up a sponsored outfit from our company just a few days ago, so I’m pretty certain that I’m right."

UMMM.... The episode where YEH wore this design was recorded last month actually.... So his statement is invalid..... Why don't this designer just clarify this to YEH first before posting something like this? For sure they have her contact.

the only thing that looks are golitas, the rest are totally different design, texture and color, there is no plagiarism here, not because the designer makes such a fuss about it.

Wow, everyone's doing a good job defending Yoon Eun Hye. Am I the only one who thinks her design does look a lot like Designer Yoon's? Maybe it's a coincidence??

she could have been inspired by his designs, but this is not a plagiarism, designs enmanan a very different feel, he can not say that is offended because they stole his designs, the only thing that has a similutud are their sleeves.

I'm a product and graphic designer so I know quite well the difference between plagiarism and inspiration. The problem here is that the main essence of the piece (and probably his collection) is the "wing-like laces" attached at the sleeves, their form, length and position. That is the element that makes the difference and shows personality in this case. And they are the same, they even start at the same point from the seam. The rest doesn't matter that much, it could be a red dress with those sleeves and I still will say that it's a stolen design. Seriously, at least she could have made an effort and tried to change it a little bit.

i hope the designer and his people checked when the episode was recorded - which was in July 29. Much earlier than the day he says Miss YEH's group picked up sponsored clothes from his place (few days means already in September).

I can understand the bitterness, specially, that design sold off for a high price. Well the designer and his team should join the same game genre.

BUT hello, shouldn't he be proud instead that he started the fashion trend with those ruffles (is it a ruffle on the sleeves) that inspired other designers to use the idea?

so now, all designs should have an international patent?

Inspiration is fine, but when it's basically a copy and paste of the design elements... I'm a person who believes "there is nothing new under the sun" and I would still call this a straight lift of his style. Ruffles on sleeves ain't new, for sure, but this is just way~~~ too close and he has every right to call it into question.

Wow... why would she put it under her name and bring this to a china competition to win when it wasn't her idea? I would love her to hear her side of the story considering it's not coincedence.
