With the success of Movie -Haemoo,and 9 awards for this movies, I am sure his earning power for his 2 latest dramas. 3 days and TGWSS should be very much more. So I am also very curious why he is not in the list.

Yes what about Park Yoochun? He should be between hallyu king status and high earners category. During Roof top , He already command more than 50 million won per episode. His movie haemoo is a success with 9 awards. So I am also curious why he is left out?

I wonder what Rain will be paid the next time he decides to do a drama. I am sure it is at the top of the idol's pay given the length of his career. I also wonder how you categorize Seo In Guk because he started as a vocalist but has focussed almost exclusively on acting lately.

If Yoochun is included in this list, then the lead actors of Sungkyungkwan Scandal (my all time historical drama favorite) is complete !!... That drama must be a lucky one then ;p.....
Im so happy that Ji Chang Wook is included, he is such a hardworking talented actor/singer..... he deserves it and even more, cheering for more succe$$ on this brilliant actor...

I guess, it's more of just an ACTOR, not including as an idol or singer??... I think PYC is still an ACTIVE IDOL , so if combined earnings per se, then he's way way ahead of these lists of actors mentioned...

Even so, the writer should show credibility in the article by mentioning him even without the gross earnings.I understand cjes and yoochun are very private about how much they are making. They only released their financial status only once and it shocked many how much JYJ members are worth.They made up more than 50% of the total earnings and it was revealed cjes is the no 1 non public listed entertainment co.That would mean JYJ is worth a hell lot of money since cjes has a lot of A list Movie Actors with box success movies recently.Still.. this only made this whole article not accurate at all.

Very happy for Seunggi, my favourite.

But yes, Yoochun is missing here. My guess is that he's at the Lee Minho/ Seunggi level, considering he had his breakthrough in 2010, around the same time as them, and raised his popularity and critical acknoledgment with his movie role last year.
What is obvious here is that actors are much better paid than actresses, like in every entertainment industry in the world. Once more, I understand why Moon Chae Won was complaining about the lack of choice with female roles compared to male roles. The salary gap is not as big as in Hollywood, but it's there.

To be honest, this list actually surprised me greatly (unlike the actresses list). There are at least 5 actors on this list that are far more talented than the top 2.....but it's audience draws and not talent that apparently matters. A glaring omission is Yoochun and Siwan. They're certainly far more talented...oops there's that word again....than Hyung sik or Sungjae. What about Seung Ho? Surely he should be on the list? Seo In Kuk?
