I think we should be careful to assume these shows, even based on true stories, are accurate and generalize to all.  Some aspects may be but not most.  I feel the need to mention since I have seen such posts.  Yes, I agree there is injustce and bad cops, bad evidence, bad judges etc. But I know plenty of good cops and law enforcement officials too.

Just like for one really bad egg, KBJ, there is a good egg in AJH.  Well more than one in the show.  When one of your colleague, and more your boss gets murdered, I understand how the cops will be suspicious.  There are plenty of cases where the criminal is the one who called for help.  Thus, the hair wringer, mind bender.  PHY is not the easiest guy to like when he treated everyone like dirt in the beginning.  First impression does leave lasting impression, or however that saying goes.

This show is beautiful in showing things are not so simple.  Yes, the girl victim did a dastardly deed that led to victimization of another powerless person.  But she was in a bad place.  Does it excuse her?  No.  The Inju event shows cascading consequences: one bribe led to interrogation led to another framing led to mob. So sad.  Each person in society failed: the cop, the dads, the teachers who didnt stop the bullying, the neighbors who allowed the vandelism, the elderly in the neighborhood.  Who is anyone to judge in this case?  So sad.

:bawling::bawling: what a sad and heartbreaking episode with the discovery of LJH's remains finally laid to rest, I just can't....:bawling:

I love how the Cold Case team work secretly together to uncover the Injoo Gang Rape case truth n also get justice for LJH n PSW. Good thing LJH didn't show himself in front of PHY that time or it will be a different kind of future for PHY, maybe. Happy that they found Hye Sung and she felt guilty for what happened and told them what she knew. Can't really understand frm the preview, LJH's death not related to Injoo? And that boy walking in a gang at the end when LJH was watching at the corner secretly, who the heck is he, Assemblyman's son? Also CSH finally heard the walkie talkie functioning in past n present, hope she can speak to LJH soon. I wanted to watch this episode live last nite but messed up on the screen time, lol, I thought it was at 11 KST but it's actually shown earlier. . Will try to catch tonite's episode if not busy since it's the wkend n am going out later. I love Signal...

SIGNAL is just superb! PD, writer, the 3 main leads and supporting casts are just perfect. The 3 main leads have their own individual stories and not over shadowing the others. Each of them made us appreciate their characters and admire their individual talents. This is truly the best cable drama since Misaeng in 2014.

What I am afraid now, if LJH or Park Sun woo survive now, history will change but someone else will die on their behalf and it may be Park HY's turn soon. CSH already 'died' once.

Ep. 13

Xports News - Naver: 'Signal', Lee Je Hoon and Joo Jin Woong's 15-year connection... going right to the end of it

1. [+8,695, -82] Jang Hyun Sung's so good at making you furious with his acting enough to make you wanna stab him in the back

2. [+7,490, -137] In this world, why does an innocent person get the blame and killed? Can you only live when you have the money and connection?.. The best line for today is "I just wished that whenever he opens the door, he would call my name and returns as if nothing has happened". I hope Cha Soo Hyun, Park Hae Young and the police officers on the same side as them dig up the truth. Save Lee Jae Han and have him return safely, as if nothing has happened

3. [+5,825, -89] Writer Kim Eun Hee, I apologize in behalf of Director Jang Han Joon about what he said about you in MuDo's MotChinSo, so please save everyone ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

4. [+4,865, -53] Save all of them ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ

5. [+4,108, -55] I'm sad it's ending soon

6. [+2,570, -19] The omurice restaurant ahjumma is amazing at acting.. In fact, this drama has no acting hole ㅠㅠ

7. [+2,047, -15] Lee Jae Han looked cool in white sweater as he watches on the real culprit in the end

8. [+2,017, -16] "Detective-nim, I want you to be happy" ㅠㅠㅠㅠ These characters are tearing my heart out, particularly Park Hae Young's omurice scenes and when Lee Jae Han's skeletons were laid out.. Today was so sad. But high school Lee Jae Han's visuals are exploding

Osen - Nate: 'Signal', Can Kim Hye Soo and Lee Je Hoon free Joo Jin Woong from injustice?
1. [+1,011, -7] Let them be happy... Get the 3 of them to gather at the pork rind place and eat omurice.. please

2. [+954, -5] Makes me angry that a powerless person was made a scapegoat of and lost his life because of that politician's son, makes me even more angry that this is so similar to reality

3. [+803, -7] Set Lee Jae Han free... This drama is our hope ㅜㅜ Park Hae Young and Lee Jae even wished each other's happiness.. My heart is hurting for them

4. [+81, 0] I heard the victim of the Miryang rape case to this day makes a living through all sorts mof manual labor in Ulsan after the assailants' parents made a scene at her high school which eventually forced her to drop out. When I look at those rapists' Facebook profiles, I don't understand how they remain to be so happy. South Korea's law is seriously f*cked up.. I wonder if their wives or girlfriends even know their pasts at all

5. [+80, 0] The victim's older and younger version resemble each other . Signal's attention to detail is impeccable

6. [+72, 0] I'm so moved when Lee Jae Han recognized  the young Park Hae Young and took care of him

7. [+72, 0] Is that the pork rind place that's in the poster? The subtle directing does a great job of showcasing their acting skills and emotions. The script is amazing too but the directing is really the best thing about it

Naver
1. [+3,401, -42] I wonder what the limit to writer Kim Eun Hee's imagination is ㄷㄷㄷ Makjang writers who rely on birth secret plots, absurd set-ups and predictable love stories should watch 'Signal' and gain inspiration from it

2. [+3,229, -29] Their acting gives me shivers. Even the child actors are veterans..

3. [+2,755, -32] The omurice is unrivalled ㅜㅜ

4. [+2,652, -30] Never would have thought omurice could break my heart ㅠㅠ I cried with the young Park Hae Young

5. [+611, -6] The episode that showed their connection isn't so simple. Lee Jae Han worries about the future while Park Hae Young comforts him. My heart ached when they were wishing for each other's happiness, I cried several times. I'm just hoping for happy things to happen in the remaining episodes

6. [+604, -9] Reopen the Miryang case
