Seriously though, are there any legal problems/copyright issues using Dr. Pepper like that?

Didn't care for the video--bizarre and sort of degrading to women, imo. Wonder why CL is going in this direction?

I was thinking the same thing. I saw the reason as to why she wrote the song Dr. Pepper but I thought "Wow, alot of people are going to be drinking dr pepper now". Hopefully she got permission from the Dr pepper

The comments I have seen from non-Kpop fans are basically that this is a great trap song/club banger and that Kpop fans are spoiled cause MV don't have to have mega movie-like production values. I can understand both of those points (and feel the second is particularly true), but that doesn't mean I have to like this song or the MV cause I really don't xP Still love CL though and, if this song is as good as they say it is for clubbing and what not, then I am happy for her success.

Ghetto Banger is a term for someone who performs SO CALLED music of the "head banger" type from the ghetto scene. And YES it is offensive to be associated with Kpop. Swearing every other phrase along with the very content of the words is offensive. Women humping whatever is Offensive. Do you think it will be aired on anything besides Youtube, certainly NOT KBS.

I agree. Very disappointed with the lack of "dignity, integrity" that made her sink this low to do an "American collaboration". When you can "SING" . You should just "SING" and leave the lewdness to others that can't achieve what CL is capable of with her extraordinary talents. Poor collaboration.

I'm sad.I love kpop and don’t listen to anything else. Riff Raff is absolutely awful to begin with. And that diplo guy I’ve never even heard of. I think since a lot of the people here in america listen to like the most random stuff maybe they thought since it was “dirty” it would be somehow catchy. I’m sure she is trying to get her name out here in u.s. but goodness pick some better people to collab with. WE STILL LOVE YOU CL!! This is coming from a non- "ghetto" black girl :) Also, this video kinda gives me the same feel as 'mommae' from Jay Park. That 'sex trip' video though..love it!
