Guest rebrebreb Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 When you are younger, it is easier to think that way I guess, but it is always better to marry someone who comes from the same background as you. Even better if you were both raised in similar countries and can, I don't know, speak to each other fluently in a way you both understand. Also citizenship issues can become a nightmare later if problems arise. Does he mean it does not matter what race the other person is? Has he even considered spiritual and cultural backgrounds too? What a headache finding the middle. I could never be with someone who was religiously or culturally devout in a direction I couldn't understand. I doubt the people in that person's life would allow it either! (he's comparing China and Korea, but I am commenting on the bigger picture: nationality issues as a whole)
Guest pjferjack Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Asian people as a whole have more in common than not. Both Japan and Korea has followed Confucius teachings through several dynasties. Chinese culture believes in revering their elders and that family comes first. Respect of one another is commonplace. Isn't that the same for Koreans and Japanese people? So what if the nationality is different, if you truly love one another and your basic fundamental of life is similar.... you can make it work.
Guest katiepebbles Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Sounds like this opinion is only related to dating between other Asian races. I wonder what he thinks about dating outside of his race? I am a white woman who likes Asian Males but alot of times, they seem shy and uninterested in dating outside of their race while many of the Asian females are dating white guys....hmmmm!
