yes they were always close, but before they seemed more  as friends, recently they look kind of like a couple, kwangso has several times voiced it out everytime she dressed up or wore a parfume. they have a natural chemistry, and skinship, and he really seems to care for her, so i wouldn't be surprised if something more developed in the future between them!
