If you haven't taken the time to listen/see their debut song or if you haven't gotten around to it yet, this is your chance!
Playback's first song, called "Playback", is a very catchy tune with some very funny dance moves. Watch it, and you'll be sure to hit that Playback button a bunch of times before you know it :)

The dance version which you can find below contains a lot of mesmerizing hair-flipping action. So georgous!

Thread looks great :)  I'm Woolim biased, but Hayoung is coming in close.

I'm totally with you there :)

Georgous looking girls all around to be honest. And skilled too. That video on Live Attack has them singing with a tape it seems, but you can still distinguish their own voices and they sound really good! They nailed the Ariane Grande song if you ask me (considering Ariane most likely uses auto-tune :P)

They really are funny too lol I saw part of that video and I can see why so many idols have publicly endorsed them. Thanks to some dedicated fans, there are already a few fancams out there especially of Hayoung.

Ariana Grande songs aren't all that hard for the average vocalist to pull off successfully, but I know for the most part she doesn't use autotune - what you hear really is her voice. I only know because I use to watch her covers on YouTube before she got bigger.

Wow, so Ariana can sing? Well, talk about wonders of the world :P
No hating though. She's just not my cup of tea. Playback is though! :D

Lol Yeah she has a really great voice, I just have an issue with how she fails to enunciate when she sings live. This is why I don't understand what she's saying in most of her songs.

Playback is also my cup of tea. I really do hope with all the PR they've gotten from their seniors they become popular. They're too talented to be ignored.

I completely agree with that! Playback shouldn't be ignored so I'm really hoping this fanthread is going to explode and we've got thousands of fans discussing Playback (preferably... like.. today...) :D
They're really talented, great looking, have awesome moves and they work hard for it! They deserve our support and our enthousiasm :)

Here's a cool interview with the girls from Playback on Pops in Seoul. They talk candidly about themselves so you really get to know them :)
Best part, it's all subtitled in English and some parts are even spoken in English. They partly perform their song live, where you can really hear how talented these awesome girls are!

It seems Playback will have their comeback on september 2nd! Playback posted this picture some hours ago on their Facebook page. Google Translate (which is not the most reliable source) seems to call their new song "Rainforest". Let's hope it means they're coming back with their new single and hopefully attract a few more fans willing to post here. I seem to be having a monologue at the moment ;)

Yes! Playback has arrived with their comeback single featuring Eric Nam, called "Nowhere"!

This song mostly features Woolim, who again shows us the magnificent sound of her voice! The other Playback members feature a slightly lesser role in this video eventhough they are a prominent part of the background. Let's hope they will get to show off their strenghts in future songs Playback drop on us :)

Woolim and Eric Nam are a very good sounding couple though. Their voices complement each other really well. Eventhough this song isn't really a summersong but more a ballad, it's still nice to listen and chillout to :)

Thought I'd give this thread an update again :)

playback
'K-Pop Star 6' contestant Ma Eun Jin will be joining girl group Playback as a 5th member!

Label Coridel Entertainment, home to both Ma Eun Jin and Playback, announced on April 12,

"Greetings from Coridel Entertainment.
Playback, along with members Hayoung, Soyun, Woolim and Yena welcome Ma Eunjin, who received much love and support from Kpop Star 6, as the newest and final member of the group.
Playback have devoted their lives to the studio and will deliver to fans what they deserve. We are coming~! We love you~!
Thank you."

Ma Eun Jin also has experience as a girl group trainee from her appearance on the 1st season of 'Produce 101'. Meanwhile, the last time Playback promoted was in 2015, with their single "Isn't There?" featuring Eric Nam

So what do you think? It seems they should have a comeback with that 5th member. I'm guessing it will be at least another couple of months but who knows, it's only 2 old songs Ma Eunjin needs to learn and all of them need to learn 1 new song. Shouldn't be too difficult?
Sorry for sounding sarcastic lol  It's been quite a while since Playback was even in play(back lol) so I should be happy I guess. I'm just a bit fearful that they've been forgotten by the public and the fans and they need to start from scratch :(
