I think some netizens who are reading a lot about the SM and Kris/Luhan/Tao saga, have this notion that SM mistreats Chinese group members, and maybe the interview is to partly clear the misunderstanding that all Chinese members in SM are treated that way.

If you see stories from those who left, they reported of how they are left out of solo activities and how they don't have the vacation to visit their family back in China and such.

Disappointed that Zhoumi would allow SM to make him the poster boy for foreign members in SM groups. His words are 1000% SM because they touch on the subjects that 3 other foreign ex members are suing SM for. "I don't have a lot of Korean celebrity friends.....so when the members came to see me I was so grateful." At least he got that in.
