SM, really? You're so bitter about them leaving, even if you're also the reason why they left the group anyways. :< I'm so disappointed. Tsk.

This isn't SM being bitter, this is SM taking a rather mean, but completely legal action. We may argue against the ethics of the content of their contracts (which us netizens haven't read, by the way), but we can't argue against the consequences taken within the bounds of the contract, which the artists themselves signed (i hope not hastily). It's not fair

Portions of Yifan's contract with SM have been released through social media.
While the contract is in dispute it is essentially placed on hold or frozen. SM cannot say he is violating his contract or sue anybody he works with because right now he figuratively doesn't have a contract with SM. The only time SM has a legal leg to stand on is if Yifan promotes a product that is in direct competition with a product that EXO promotes.

Soompi you left out the part that a Korean court (yes that's right, Korean) has stated that Kris has the right to promote through a third party of his choice in China. In other words SM does not own Kris's name or image. SM just can't let things go. This is definitely going to back-fire on SM.
