Yes, hope cdrama release the opening theme song, and also Wallace's entrance song! Appreciate the translator also for the novel, it's a great in depth read after watching the related episodes. Trying not to read more chapters ahead to avoid more spoilers, already spoiled a lot by that intriguing preview haha.

@Tinkiebell Nice to see you here too  Guess we both have fallen for this drama, I also stumbled upon it on viki and binge watched it. Now we will have to suffer the weekly wait for new episodes and it doesn't hurt that the male lead is totally my type .

Sheesh... are they really expecting us to pick between Wallace and Wang Kai to root for? Don't even get me started... Suffice to say I'm not taking sides although I am already feeling for the underdog. Not a good sign. Sorry guys, I don't even want a romance if it means that we lose all the bromances.

It's wasn't too bad once the missing boys case kicked into gear. At least it gave you the feeling that the writer gave the storyline some thought. Although the second male lead isn't a genius by a long shot, he's quick on the uptake, hardworking and cooperative. I hope he stays good and objective if and when the love triangle goes full throttle. I also like Fu Ziyi and would love to find out more about his day job. I'm glad that he's a recurring character. I don't mind Jian Yao although I'm not fussed either way if she's there or not. She's not annoying or completely useless and I suppose Jinyan needs a sounding board. 

'Twas rather amusing to see all those pop cultural references to everyone's favourite crime shows from The Knight Rider to Sherlock. LOL. Between chuckles, I kept wondering if the writer and/ or director is/are avid fans of US and UK crime shows. That first investigative arc reminded me mainly of Wire in the Blood although Wallace (the dear boy) isn't quite in Robson Green territory just yet.

I rather enjoy Wallace playing these sorts of inscrutable geniuses. That penetrating stare of his is very attractive.

I honestly don't have even a trace of second lead syndrom, I'm usually not subject to it unless the male lead is a jerk and it's not the case here. I root for the one who the female lead is attracted to and even more if the feelings are mutual.

I once rooted for the second male lead because I felt much more attraction between him and the female lead and he ended up getting the girl. But here, i don't even feel the need to make a choice because it feels so natural to me.

I wouldn't be able to watch the episodes live since I'll still be at work

I wonder why the novel in Chinese Chapter 34 and 35 there a big gap in the story. End of chapter 34 jian yau begin to work jin yan as his assistant. But chapter 35 begin they are in love already besides jing yan also had proposed to jian yau long time ago. what happen have i missed something? i used google audio to listen

I was reading the posts by everyone and I decided to not keep myself quiet any longer because this drama is TOO GOOD to be true!!! Anyways... There's a blogger translating the chapters in the book?? So happy!!!! I was trying to find the english translation of the book so I'm so glad that there's someone there doing it and I was able to find it through everyone here!! 

Finally episode 7 & 8 is out? So excited!!! especially for the english subtitles!!! I gotta say I really love the main characters/couple since they actually really good together and in some ways actually complement each other! It also helps that they both can portray their characters on point to the point where we actually believe what's happening!!! Kudos to them!! Can't wait to see what will happen to the both of them in future episodes (and for that I will not read all the chapters translated so as to not spoil what will happen in the future episodes)!!!!

Btw.. the preview for episode 10 is out and I have to say it looks really good!!! It sucks that I watched it by accident and now I can't wait for episode 10 (which will only come out in 1 week) but then there's 2 episodes to look forwards watching to right? (And I'm talking about episode 7 and 8 here). Plus, it helps that next week one of the dramas (Sassy Go Go) I'm currently watching is coming to an end (which I'm having mixed feelings on whether I should be happy or sad the drama is ending) so at least there's something that will distract me from waiting for 1 week for episodes 9 and 10. this episode8 the novel is more detail than the drama Coz after jian yau had left pei zhe house. how come police ask them for investigation all of the sudden. Jing yan said there were no evidence to prove him as a murder or either a suspect. While pei zhe collapse
