I think the PDs did the right thing since dogs are sometimes unpredictable... 3 meals a day, FIGHTING..!

There's no escaping these netizens - even Mingki can't be excluded with their controversies. Where I am from, it is dangerous to be next to a dog that has just given birth so it is quite understandable why Mingki was on a leash. People, who's next? Jackson the goat or Matilda the mother hen??

you know what is cruel threatening the show through message board that if they explain their side they will consider it as cruelty... common sense people on that show are not living there, some dogs are sensitive mostly after they gave birth..

Um. The dog just had babies guys. Let it rest! I highly doubt the dog needs to play frisbee or go for a jog. Though that small looks small for a human it's actually enough for the dog (yes i spoke to professionals about this when i got a cage for my dog cuz i was worried lol)
Did they hit the dog? NO.
Was the dog barking in distress? NO.
Did they starve the dog? NO.

But im still happy viewers were concerned..it shows korea is changing slowly about their thoughts on animals.

Glad there are people who concern about animal cruelty in Korea especially about a dog. But think about human labor pain, people take epidural shots to relieve the pain but for this dog she had to move around and dig grounds. I would too concern she would walk away somewhere if i didn't take some action like leashing. Plus they even had a Veterinarian who was watching her. if they where abusing the dog, i don't think they would even think about her at all. People need to chill out a little.

Actually it is dangerous to leash a dog and being unwatched, not because of the run away, minky could have strangled her self in pain and fear because of the labour, in our country it isn't allowed to keash a dog in labour so I understand the critic of the citizen.
I do undrstand the concern of the pd's about minkys safety but it would be mor ehuman to have build her a save place she could not escape from.

beside plastic dog houses aren't very good for climatic exchange and can leat to parasits and fungal infection at the puppies.

So yeah viewers concern wasn't just nonsense
