How can someone get offended by what he said? I don't understand some people they make absolutely no sense. In no way did that sound misogynistic. I think people will find any reason to act offended.

People who live in a landfill think everything that surrounds them is rubbish. It seems that people think a man is unable to think seriously that a woman is a blessing and an inspiration. If a man says something like that is just because he thinks that they are "useful" for his work, it's "impossible" that he has admiration for women and then he is deeply inspired from them and from their way of living life. It seems that we have truly lost our faith in humanity.

Having (sadly) a long period of exposure to those derriere-hurt persons who find a slur in EVERYTHING a (insert the supposed oppressor here) says, I do believe that the fact that our poor deluded young man did not explicitly say - oh, by the way not only do women inspire but a lot of the time they are the creators of the works - is the reason he's getting flack. Because said posterior-pains NEVER bother to look at intent, or what said person MEANT, if they are a member of the group labeled 'enemy'.
After around 40 years of this specific type of stupidity, I can safely describe my attitude as 'over it' - I find Jonghyun's statement adorable & complimentary, and sooooo prefer his attitude to those who are criticizing him...
BTW I'm one of those ORIGINAL bra-burning NOW card carrying type feminists - the kind that DON'T hate men... I in fact quit NOW in the 70s because they were being taken over by the man-haters :(
