I would like to know how to embed a youtube video in a post. I copied the code provided in youtube then in the post use the "<>" tool to paste the code.

Example: When I try here.... so you can see the issue I'm getting (below)

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/R9So0UDGFsw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

What am I doing wrong? Much appreciated for your help.

Just copy paste the link  Right click Copy url. paste on your post.  https://youtu.be/R9So0UDGFsw

Hit enter after you post the link

Do you hit enter after copying the URL?  If you do, you should see a preview of the video in your post. If you just add a space to keep typing, it doesn't work.: Space: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v

Can I add on to this?

Is there a way to make the YT videos smaller? Having them so huge isn't the visual look I like for my posts, lol.

Sigh..  I keep failing to embed a video.. can someone guide me? I already hit 'enter 'after I have paste the video URL . I insert the url into <> tag, isn't it correct?

That is indeed not correct. There are no tags needed. Just copy the URL and hit enter :)
