During the filming, Roy Kim shows off his various talents while impressing the audience with an impressive live performance. As a busy student in the U.S., he also admits that his hygiene standards have taken a back seat to his studies. “I don’t wash a lot or shave in the U.S. I just use cologne. I’m studying hard,” he said, describing his current situation.

Also discussing how common the last name “Kim” is among Korean singers, Roy Kim discusses how one fan had him confused with singer Eddy Kim. “A while back I got a comment on one of my SNS accounts that said ‘I enjoyed listening to ‘The Manual,’”

Aside from that, Roy Kim also praises the work of idol groups sweeping the music industry today, saying, “When you watch performances by BIGBANG, EXO, and SHINee, there is just so much glamour.”
