SHINee’s Onew Opens Up about Age Differences in Relationships

SHINee’s Onew revealed the acceptable age difference in relationships for him. On the episode of JTBC’s “Witch Hunt” aired on June 5, Onew and Taemin appeared as the special guest for the 95th episode. When MC Shin Dong Yeop asks, “What is your acceptable maximum age difference in a relationship,” Onew answers, “Though I used to not think about age that much when I was in my early 20s, now I feel like 10 years is a stretch.” When Sung Si Kyung and Heo Ji Woong, who are both 10 years older than him, get offended, the young pop star adds, “If we’re in love I would still meet her, but I think we would have a hard time sorting things out.” Sung Si Kyung presses the topic, saying, “I would be able to sort things out.” In respone Onew timidly replies, “Then I guess I could meet someone 10 years older than me.” Source (1)
