Man in His 50s Arrested for Threatening to Blow Up Broadcast Company

On May 30 according to Chungbuk Cheongwon Police, a man in his 50s, Mr. Pyo, was arrested for calling the SBS broadcast station in Seoul and making threats. Mr. Pyo called SBS from his home in Cheongju on May 30 at around 4:20 p.m. and said in his rage, "The celebrity I hate keeps coming out on TV," and said, "If they come out on broadcast again, I will blow up the broadcast company." After receiving the report from SBS, the police tracked the man down using his phone number, and Mr. Pyo was arrested at around 5:20 p.m. Mr. Pyo, who was drunk when he made the threat, appeared to be watching "Running Man" and wasn't happy with one of the celebrities being on the show, and used his cell phone to call the broadcast company. The police began investigations on Mr. Pyo, and said that "The level of his penalty will be decided after investigations." Source (1)
