Hwang Jung Eum is both a beautiful lady and a skilled actor, but she said that she preferred receiving compliments on her looks rather than her acting skills. On the episode of KBS2’s “Entertainment Weekly” aired on May 23, Hwang Jung Eum is asked, “Which do you want to hear more: that you are a good actor or that you are pretty,” to which she replies, “Pretty.” “I’ve been focusing on my acting so much that I’ve given up on my looks,” she says. “I  can only focus on one thing at a time.” She also mentions her nickname “Queen of tears,” saying that she loved it.
