BTS Takes 1st Place on Gaon Weibo Chart for 2 Consecutive Weeks

BTS is proving its incredible popularity in China, as the group continues its first place streak on the Gaon Weibo Chart for two weeks in a row. According to the Gaon Chart released on May 11, BTS took the number one spot for the 19th(April 27 – May 3) and 20th(May 4 – May 10) week of 2015. The Gaon Weibo Chart is a weekly music chart that ranks the Top 10 K-Pop groups in China based on data gathered from China’s most popular SNS platform, Weibo. BTS opened up its very own Weibo account this past March to begin communicating with the group’s fans in China.
