Newsie
SHINee is gearing into comeback mode and will be revealing some of their new songs at their concert “SHINee WORLD IV,” which will be held from May 15 to 17. “View,” which will first be revealed on may 15, is their tittle song. Not only will it immediately hook listeners because of its deep house genre and up tempo, but the lyrics written by Jonghyun that describe the beauties of love are also noteworthy. “Love Sick” is a classy yet trendy song with an R&B flare, and it displays affection towards an older lover through SHINee’s beautiful voice. “An Ode to You” is a slower, acoustic ballad that depicts everlasting love. “An Encore” is also a poetical song with touching lyrics and juicy notes. In contrast, “Woof Woof” is a fun and funky song that makes the listeners think of a comical western musical due to the lively band in the background. More songs other than those performed at the concert will be released with SHINee’s fourth official album on May 18. “Odd Eye” is a song that Jonghyun made with each of the member’s talents in mind, “Romance” is a retro, throw-back song that reflects new love, and “Trigger” is a soulful tune with heart-breaking lyrics on the last moments of life. Other songs include “Farewell My Love,” which is a pop R&B song with a hint of agony, “Alive,” a unique song that visualizes blood veins with the help of MC META’s rapping, and “Black Hole,” which is a funky French house tune. Meanwhile, SHINee will be making a comeback on May 21 through “M! Countdown” and continue with a string of performances at KBS, MBC, SBS and more.
