FTISLAND’s Lee Jae Jin Clears Up Rumors That He Has Been Hitting on Red Velvet

FTISLAND member Lee Jae Jin has directly addressed the rumors surrounding him with regards to girl group Red Velvet. On the final May 5 broadcast of the group’s SBS MTV reality show “Coming Out! FTISLAND,” the members held a live concert for their fans. During the concert, the group members discussed various stories and rumors that the fans were curious about. In an earlier episode of the reality show, Jae Jin had stated that he was a big fan of Red Velvet. Since then, rumors began to surface, claiming that Jae Jin has been trying to hit on the girl group. In response, the FTISLAND member denied it, explaining, “I’ve never gone near them and we’ve never once greeted each other.” After hearing this, Choi Jong Hoon added, “The important thing is that Red Velvet doesn’t have cellphones,” surprising everyone. His fellow members then became suspicious and asked, “How do you know that?” to which Jong Hoon calmly tried to explain, “I asked my friends under SM Entertainment.” However, the rest of the group members carried on with their interrogation and asked, “Why would you ask that?” causing everyone to burst into laughter.
