The producers of KBS2TV's popular variety show "Superman Returns" have decided to address the issue of malicious comments by limiting access to the viewers' message board. While the message board has served as a platform for viewers to offer their constructive criticism to the producers, some have crossed the line by posting spiteful comments about the cast members, particularly the children, on the KBS website. To protect the young children from verbal abuse, the producers have now made the message board private, and the messages can no longer be viewed by the public. "We have made the viewers' message board private with the intention of protecting the cast members and children from insults, mean comments, and malicious rumors. We ask for your understanding," the producers commented on their decision, and added that they may delete inappropriate comments at any time without further notice. Meanwhile, the show has recently been criticized for poor management of shoot locations and excessive use of captions.
