Newsie
JTBC talk show “Abnormal Summit” took a moment to send their condolences to those affected in the recent tragedy in Nepal. During the April 27 broadcast, MC Jeon Hyun Moo asks Nepali cast member Sujan Shakya, “According to the date of filming, an earthquake occurred in Nepal yesterday (April 25). How is your family?” Sujan Shakya shares that fortunately his family is fine, “For the first time in eight hours, the wi-fi worked briefly, so they sent me a picture of themselves altogether. We are okay, but thinking about how those that have been harmed are doing… For one, it’s just really sad.” He tears up as he continues, “It’s hard to talk about this, but it’s a place that I lived in for a long time and the fact that it was destroyed in one fell swoop is just so… It’s really frustrating because the airports are closed down, and traffic is paralyzed so it’s almost impossible to move. I want to go immediately and do something, but that’s just something I can’t do right now regardless of how much I want to, so I feel very frustrated and… I don’t know what I should do.” MC Yoo Sae Yoon says, “I visited Nepal only just a few weeks ago, and my heart hurts. It seems like the death toll will continue to increase, but we hope that there will be no more harm done.” We hope the same. #PRAYFORNEPAL Source (1)View the full article
